I step into the shower and feel the hot water on my skin I sigh relaxed. What am I doing here I'm a normal guy without powers wanting powers through science? Then I remember I'm broke and need money for college. I feel a bruise forming on my cheek jeez why did she hit so hard I mean it would hurt worse if it was a dude or maybe not, I shake my head so confusing.
I wash my body and hair, run my hands through my hair this makes me feel so calm even for a moment. Kaitlin has a nice body cute nose I noticed but cold as stone at least on the surface what should I do I'm so intrigued by her, I might even fall for her I laugh that's funny I vowed never to fall for someone again all people do is stab you in the back and expect you to be okay.
"what dumb jerks." I sigh I thought maybe I could leave my past behind but it always comes back eventually. I step out of the shower and wrap a towel around me I go to the bed and lie down. some minutes later while I'm thinking about what rabbit would taste like, I hear a knock.
I open up the door oblivious to the fact I'm still in my towel, there stands Kaitlin with a plate full of food. I stare at her while her eyes roam my body. "want to take pictures or are you done?" She looks at me unfazed she clears her throat "could you put some clothes on its quite distracting." I nod and she comes in while I go to the bathroom to change.
"I brought you some food just beans, mashed potatoes and green beans I made dinner so it's probably not too good I don't cook often," she says. I come out and the food smells really good. "I'm sure it's great I'm not picky anyway." I grab the food and set it on the table and start digging in. "so what do I own this pleasure?" I ask.
She stares at me dumbfounded but quickly recovers. "I'm sorry for punching you but I won't hesitate to do it once more if you call me that again." she says determined, I hold up my hands "I'm sorry." she nods and sighs "good and you have a suitcase in the closet full of clothes hopefully they fit because in the morning were going to Paris, so be ready." I stare confused, Paris? that escalated quickly we're not even dating yet.
