I've got miles of regrets and confusing friends

it's 7 in the morning, I groan as a rollover my bed to turn off my loud ass alarm. "it's way too early for me to be awake." I mumbled to myself as I get up from my bed. I just wanna get this year over with.. im simply tired of being walked all over by everyone in my life.

as I get ready for another day of school, I wonder if it's really worth it? like I could just drop out and I have enough money for it...I could move far away and no one would bother me and that would mean I'll never see my mother again, 'd is happier like that.

god, I wish I could never see her again.

I look at my phone to check the time, and it's 7:45 

I guess im going to be late again.

when I walk into my class everyone looks at me like im an alien, I just ignore it and sit at my desk next to this kid named donghyuck. and of course, my teacher had something to say about it.

"choi hyejin, this is the 4th time you've been late this week, do you have an excuse now?"

oh my fucking god it's not that deep. I sigh and try to play along so I won't get detention. 

"I'm sorry Mrs.Kim, I woke up late again..." I say quietly with my head down

"unacceptable, ill see you in detention after school miss hyejin."

... are you serious right now? 

"well... I guess that makes two of us" donghyuck whispered to me "id rather die, so please kindly fuck off" whispered back as I rolled my eyes.

"no need to be so mean to me" he acted hurt "you know you love me,"  he said with a smirk

"clearly I hate you, so please leave me alone so I can focus on my work."

"damn okay..." he says as he turns around to write in his notebook.

finally, classes were over, I was planning to leave school without Mrs.Kim noticing but of course, someone had the nerve to talk to me.

"hey! hyejin, wait up!" 

I turned around to see donghyuck running towards me. "you weren't planning on skipping detention where you? that's not very good.." 

"do you honestly think id want to be stuck in a room with you for hours?"  because if he did he must be really fucking dumb. he looked at me and smiled "I thought so, so I'm taking you somewhere else"  he grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the school.  "where do you think you're taking me?" 

"I'm about to change your life," he said with a mischievous ass smirk on his face, to be honest, what I was going to say next might sound dumb considering I barely know this guy but it was better than being home, plus he seemed...okay.

"by all means lead the way" I probably sounded nervous because he chuckled and took me to his car.  we ended up in a cafe, it was basically a date, he was really funny and I found out that he liked astrology and stuff about stars. 

"hey, hyejin.. it was really nice spending time with you, and it's getting dark so I have one more place to take you too" 

"well uh, I don't know... I have to go home soon.." he looked at me and pouted  "are you sure? .."

"I'm sorry hyuck..." I really felt bad at this point but I wasn't sure if I should go with him. "Well u wanted to see the stars with you but you're being a bitch, come on, I'll drive you home," he said slightly pissed, now i feel like a shit person.

the car ride was silent the whole time, he didn't say a word. i don't know if he was just being petty or if I really pissed him off...

"bye, hyuck ! ill see you at school tomorrow" i said as i left his car "i had fun with you today, i didn't know you could be so nice"  he laughed and waved bye at me. i opened the door to my house with a smile, however, mother wasn't very happy..
