"Queen, what is it I am hearing you've been fighting again with your classmates?" Mom's serious voice filled my ear when she saw me walking inside the house.
Nagulat ako roon, napahawak pa sa dibdib at napakurap-kurap.
Kapapasok ko lang? Ito na ang bungad?
"Mom..." I called and flashed her a small smile, "good evening, I love you too."
Namaywang siya. Her brow shot up when she noticed me avoiding the topic.
"What is it, huh? About that bestfriend of yours again?" she inquired pero nagmaang-maangan lang ako.
"Huh? Hindi po, Mommy." I hopped towards her, clinging on her arms while she's pouting at me.
"Anong hindi?" sulyap niya sa braso ko, "you are only involved in that petty girl fights because of him. What he is, hmm? Boyfriend?"
"Nope—"
"What boyfriend? Anong boyfriend-boyfriend 'yang naririnig ko?" we both stopped talking when we heard a voice, when we shifted our gaze and saw our Thorn Valderama walking towards us in his casual dress shirt and trousers, I smiled.
"Daddy ko!" I screamed happily, bumitaw ako kay Mommy at nagtatatakbo kay Dad na natatawang sinalo ako ng yakap.
"How are you, Queen?" he whispered, "ano na namang away ang sinumulan mo, ah?" he asked, kissing my hair.
"It wasn't me who started it," I frowned and hugged him tighter. "It's just that, those girls talked shits behind my backs and—"
"Words, young lady." Dad reminded kaya lumayo na ako sa kanya.
"Sorry, Dad." I apologized sincerely, "I was just super annoyed like...super? To the highest level?" pinakita ko pa ang kamay ko para matanto niya ang highest level na sinasabi ko.
"She fought with those kids again, Thornie." Mom sighed exasperatedly, walking towards my father who's been smirking.
"I heard they talk shits behind her back, reyna." Dad murmured and placed his hand on Mom's waist.
"At kakampihan mo?" Mom frowned and smacked his chest, "educate her, nakakasanayan na ang pakikipag-away. It won't be good for your records, Queen Scira."
I pouted.
"But..."
"Your mother's right, Queen." Dad touched my cheek, "I understand they are rude to you but don't engage yourself in catfights, okay? Ikaw din ang nasasaktan."
I did not answer them, realizing what I did wrong.
"You realized it now?" Mom tilted her head to look at my expression.
