"Here," Karuizawa said, handing me a small present.

A present? There's no reason for her to be handing me a present, especially since there are no current events.

"What? It's not my birthday." I asked.

I held the present with my hand and rotated it to see if there were any notes.

Happy Valentine's

"Oh."

"What? You forgot?!" Karuizawa exclaimed with frowned eyebrows.

"Yes, I did. I'm not aware of certain events because I'm not interested." I said. "Shouldn't you give this to your partner?"

"What do you mean?"

"Valentine's is a day where the majority of people celebrated romance and love," I stated.

"You can give friends as well! Not just love partners or anything. Some people might even give everyone in the school chocolates!" Karuizawa yelled as we got closer to the entrance of the school building. "So, did you prepare chocolates for Horikita? I assume you didn't."

"No, we aren't dating."

A lot of people were walking by with a bag full of chocolates, while some had none.

Karuizawa saw her friends and waved goodbye to me before leaving me alone walking in the hallway. "Ayanokouji-kun! Yahoo~"

I glanced over my shoulder to see the one and only, Ichinose.

"Good morning Ayanokouji-kun!" she greeted.

"Good morning Ichinose."

"Here!" Ichinose said, handing me a present similar but a few centimeters bigger in width than what Karuizawa had given me. "Happy Valentine's!" she smiled.

"Thank you." I meekly bowed my head.

She responded with a genuine smile. "See you later Ayanokouji-kun!"

"Kikyou-chan!!" someone yelled.

I entered the classroom only to find some of my male classmates either crying or screaming in excitement.

What happened here?

"Oh, Ayanokouji-kun!" Kushida said approaching me with a smile. Kushida ran towards me with a vibrant smile, but that smile soon faded into a deadly glare once she got close enough. "Happy Valentine's."

I got another present.

Kushida quickly went off to the others while I walked towards my seat.

Out of everyone in the classroom, one female student was acting weird. Someone who's usually reserved and serious is... Horikita sat still behind her desk with her arms under her desk. She was staring at her desk seemingly in deep thoughts.

I wonder if Sudou has something for her.

*thud*

Sudou had arrived. He was breathing heavily while he held onto the door. Did he run?

Horikita who was deep in her thoughts suddenly got interrupted by the red hair's surprising actions. He fixed his hair and confidently walked towards Horikita with his chest forward. "Happy Valentine's!" he said, handing Horikita a present similar to the others.

"I don't eat chocolate."

Everyone's attention was directed towards the class leader and the basketball player.

"We-w-well, w-why don't you... put it in your room... for collection?" Sudou said after racking his brain for solutions to solve this situation. He placed the chocolate flatly on her desk and ran away.
