Tony walked towards Steve who was unconscious on the ground "Come on, buddy. Wake up. That's my man" He had Cap's shield "You lose this again, I'm keeping it".
"What happened?" The man on the ground asked, slightly flinching due to his injuries.
"You messed with time. It tends to mess back. You'll see" Tony helped Steve on his feet. They walked up to join Thor, who had been observing Thanos from a distance.
"What's he been doing?" The man on a robotic shit asked, the trio looking at the Titan.
"Absolutely nothing"
"Where are the stones?" Cap asked, still not taking his eyes off of their rival.
"Somewhere under all this. All I know is he doesn't have them" Tony replied.
"So we keep it that way"
"You know it's a trap, right?" The god asked them.
"Yeah. And I don't much care" Tony once again replied.
"Good. Just as long we are all in agreement" Thunder cracked as Thor stretched out both hands to summon both Stormbreaker and Mjolnir. His casual clothes transformed into his armour and cape, with his beard getting some braid treatment "Let's kill him properly this time".
The Big Three walked over to confront Thanos face to face, who looked directly at them "You could not live with your own failure. And where did that bring you? Back to me. I thought by eliminating half of life, the other half would thrive. But you've shown me that's impossible. And as long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those that are unable to accept what can be. They will resist".
"Yep. We're all kinds of stubborn" Tony told him sarcastically.
"I'm thankful. Because now, I know what I must do" he said before standing up "I will shred this universe down to its last atom" Thanos putted on his helmet "And then– With the stones you've collected for me, create a new one. Teeming with life, but knows not what it has lost but only what it has been given" Thor lighted himself up, preparing for the battle "A grateful universe".
"Born out of blood" Steve spat out.
"They'll never know it. Because you won't be alive to tell them"
The fighting started, and Thor and Tony go straight at Thanos. Meanwhile, Hulk is under all of the mess trying to hold up the structure with the help of Thomas's powers. Rhodey and Rocket were breathing for their lives.
"See you on the other side, man" Rhodes said but Scott was quick to go to them.
"Hang on! I'm coming!"
Hawkeye and Black Widow were running with the infinity gauntlet. The archer blowed the place, and both escaped before the Outriders overwhelm them. They found Nebula, just not the one who was on their team.
