"Senpai!" I called out to the man in front of me.
Today I'm wearing a blue t-shirt with a short skirt, while the man in front of me is wearing a white shirt covered in a brown jacket.
The man in front of me is Ayanokoji Kiyotaka. A senpai in 2nd year who I had a crush on after the island exam.
At first, I thought he was an enemy but I soon realized he is not my enemy. In fact he is my savior.
He saved me from the guilt of leaving Ryota to die alone. (Ryota is Matsuo's son. I don't know his real name so I made in up)
He saved me from falling into the dark abyss.
I know he is just using me for his own good, but I wouldn't mind repaying him.
"You're early" He replied to me. Senpai you're standing in our meeting spot 30 minutes before the time. Are you sure you're the one to say?
"I could say the same to you senpai" I replied to him in a teasing manner.
He doesn't even change a look in his poker face. I expected that already anyway.
"Now that you're here let's go?"
"Yes senpai!" I grabbed his hand and began dragging him around the mall.
The reason I invited me today is because today is June 12th. To be exact my birthday.
It's quite a coincidence that the last day of the summer break is my birthday, yet senpai still agreed to spent sometime with me.
Senpai told me earlier on the cruise ship that he is dating Karuizawa-senpai and they decided to reveal their relationship on the next exam.
To be honest I wasn't shock, I know the two of them had connections by the time I spent st- following senpai when I was planning on the revenge.
I dragged senpai around the mall for half an hour and he suggested that we go get something to eat since it's lunch.
We end up eating in a family restaurant, I felt some glares while eating but the glares are towards senpai not me. Although he didn't even mind it and ate his food normally.
After lunch we arrived at the cinema. I'm trying to use this opportunity to cling to senpai while watching the movie, so I chose the movie 'The Quiet Place'. It's a horror movie that had just came out about a family who tried to survive in a post apocalyptic world where an alien invades earth. The alien are blind. They can only use echo location and surrounding noise to catch its prey.
(First year took place in 2017 so second year take place in 2018 right? Also quiet place great movie. You should watch it if you haven't already)
After buying the tickets, senpai bought a size-S popcorn bucket and 2 coca-cola. I searched for row D12 and D13 which is our seat.
The opening minutes of the movie are interesting, I clung to senpai's arm pretending to be scared. He didn't seemed to mind so I stared at his face throughout the movie.
"That was a great movie." Senpai said after exiting the theatre.
"I agreed senpai. That was a fairly interesting movie. I wonder if there will be a sequel that got delayed in our post apocalyptic world as well" I replied to him. To tell the truth, I lied. I didn't watch the movie at all. Senpai's face was far more interesting
After this, I dragged him around the mall some more, after the sky has gone dark we decided to part ways.
"Thanks for today senpai I enjoyed it" I don't know if senpai considered this as a date or not, but it will be in my memories
"Here. Take this" he said handling me a bag. In it was a perfume, a hand cleaner, and a doll.
"Today is your birthday right? Also I chose that doll because it's cute like you" he continued.
My heart skipped a beat and, I could feel my face turning red. I turned away and took a glance at the doll.
The doll was a cute white puppy with brown golden eyes. I was very happy. Senpai remembered my birthday after all.
"Thank you Ayanokoji-senpai! I will cherish it" I didn't lie there. I will sleep with that doll every night. It has senpai's scent after all.
With that out of the way, senpai walked back to his dorm.
"Umm senpai?" My voice leaked out before I knew it.
I know he has a girlfriend after all. But I didn't want to hide it.
Those feelings I don't want to lock them away. But I also didn't want to destroy the relationship we have right now.
"What is it?" Senpai turned back to face me.
"Never mind senpai. See you tomorrow!" With that, I ran away.
Right now I'm happy. I hope senpai is too.
Somewhere in my heart, I could only pray for those feelings to be found.

First time I done a full thought with little conversation in the chapter
It was hard I'm not a girl so I don't know how maiden's heart work.
This is just my interpret of it.
I'll make a quick game down there. The prize is....... Umm.....something. Might have to think of it later.
