Soojin POV

By the time I was done with PE sweat was dripping down my face and all energy drained from me. God I do enough training back at the base but running is still the worst.

Each student was standing by their locker and changing I took a pair of clothing and went to take a quick shower to freshen up.

By the time I was done everyone was gone except that girl from class. cliché if you ask me.

I walked to my locker which was a few lockers away from her meaning I had to pass by her, when I did she turned her head toward my direction but I didn't. 

I opened my locker and threw my dirty PE clothes in, she suddenly spoke. 

"what is your name?"

I turned to her and tilted my head, "what is yours?" 

She just smiled and said. "shuhua"

I nodded my head, "shuhua"

She kept on staring at me the smile still on her face and blinking. I smiled a bit and said, "my name is soojin"

Her smile got bigger if thats possible. She skipped towards me and said, "well soojin looks like you and me are gonna be best friends from now on" while sliding her arms into mine. I let out a low chuckle and pulled my arms from hers.

"Why would you think that"

"Oh I don't think I'm sure of it" she said the smile still on her face. I shook my head sideways and left the locker room the smile not leaving my face.

I slid my phone into my pocket, and went towards math class. When I entered I found yuqi sitting by the window she saw me and waved to me.

I walked towards her but got pulled by someone to another desk. I turned and saw who was the culprit. shuhua. 

"I have to sit with my friend" I said while will keeping straight eye contact with her. She pointed her head towards yuqi. I turned and saw and short blonde head siting with her, I shrugged and decide to sit with shuhua why not?

Yuqi POV

damn it soojin. HOW IS SHE EVERYWHERE?! 

I ignored her presences that is until she started pressing her legs against mine. I scooted away from her but she got closer. I turned my head quickly and gave her a glare she knows what shes doing god I hate this.

She gave me a knowing look. " come on you like it" she said in a low whisper. I moved my head sideways, she hummed before saying. "How about you give me your number and I'll stop annoying you" 

I nodded my head not thinking twice. I typed it in and gave her back her phone and once I did she sent a text to the number and my phone screen didn't lit up.

She stared at me and raised an eyebrow, I gave her a side glance before placing my chin on my hand and staring outside. 

She ripped out a paper and tossed it at me. This girl just can't stop. I opened it and it had her number in it, I folded it and placed it in my pocket. 

And just like that she pretended like I didn't exist for the rest of the period.

When the bell rang she got up and left not saying anything to anyone or me. 

"seriously what are we gonna do about her I got a bad feeling" I looked up and saw soojin there. 

" I don't know, look she gave me her number so I can call her and make somi trace it?" she nodded.

"what's up with you and her."

We started walking to the cafeteria, "nothing she wants to be bestfriends and I quote best friends" soojin said using her hands as air quotes.

I let out a sigh. "What have we gotten ourselves into"

We entered got food and sat at an empty table. After a while ryujin came and sat with us, "there is a rumor going around that minnie is in town" I tensed at the mention of her name. I raised an eyebrow, "where did you hear that"

"In the street you know I get information from everywhere but most of them aren't true but I got a feeling that minnie is in town"

"well how is everything at the base?"

"They are great they are fixing everything up pretty quickly then again its most probably because of you" she let out a low chuckle after. I just smiled as long as everyone's following the rules I don't have to punish anyone.

"okay I have to go now have a nice day guys" she smiled and left.

"yu-

"what she said technically isn't a lie you know" I interrupted her. 

"she was here"

Soojin nodded her head getting what I was saying. "I'm gonna go outside for a bit you can talk to your new friend while I'm out"

I went to the bleachers that were at the field. I spotted from far away miyeon sitting there and eating peacefully. I walked to her to ruin her lunch, "why hello there beautiful creature no one bullying you during lunch?"

She flinched startled by my presences, she laughed and tapped her hands on the space beside her for me to sit. 

"Today no, thankfully"

I hummed while nodding my head. "how are you" she asked I looked at her and shrugged. 

"Is anyone really ever okay?" 

She held her gave then let out a sigh and turned her head towards the the field the said.

"We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret things in our past. But you are not your mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here now. You fought you didn't give up meaning you have power yuqi power to shape your future never forget that"

I just sat there staring at her my eyes stinging me. A girl that doesn't know anything about me just told me something that I've been craving to hear from anyone. 

She stood and came towards me and stood between my legs and gave me a hug. I placed my head on her tummy and just let out my tears. 

"its okay to cry" she kept on smoothing out my hair while I held on tight. 

"Thank you Miyeon"
