"So when was the last time your parents were home? "

"Probably around Christmas, that's the only time when they don't have a lot of work,"

"That was like 8 months ago," I respond, shocked. 

I don't know how a family really works but if I had one I don't think I'd be able to stay away from them that long. 

"Yeah, Claire misses them a lot."

"What about you?"

"I want to say no but they're my parents and even if they're not around, I still love them and wish they were here. We have so many happy memories together before they got all engulfed in their work."

"I'm sure they miss you guys too, and who knows, maybe they're on their way right now," I smile, an idea popping into my head. 

"Yeah maybe," He replies disheartened.

Is my idea a little crazy?

Definitely but when are they not. 

I'm doing it for Claire. 

And maybe a little bit for Gray too. 

"I'll be back in a few," I excuse myself to the bathroom. 

Usually all the wishes I grant are to do with something or someone that's in front of me but nevertheless I'll try my best to bring them here. 

I focus as hard as I can on their mom first. 

I'm completely out of breath by the time I'm done. 

Looks like it's just gonna be their mom for now. I don't want anyone getting suspicious as to how both of their parents suddenly popped out of nowhere. 

As soon as I'm back to where everyone is enjoying, Gray pulls me to the dance floor. 

"Come on!"

"What?" I chuckle. 

"I really like this song, let's dance!" He grins. 

I put my hands on his shoulder and he puts them on my waist. 

We sway along with the music till the song finishes. 

"Thank you for dancing with me," He smiles. 

"Likewise," I smile back. 

"Mom!" An excited squeal comes from nearby. 

Well that took a lot less time than I thought it would. 

Are my powers getting stronger? 

Claire runs up to hug her mom while Gray turns around to look at her. 

"Mom? What are you doing here?" He asks. 

"It's Claire's birthday, so I moved some things around in my schedule. Now come give me a hug," She extends her arm. 

"That's amazing mom, glad you're here with us," He goes and hugs her. 

I go check on the other kids so that Claire and Gray can spend some time with their mom.

I glance at my watch and see that it's around 6. My flight is at 11 so I better get going. 

"Claire? Can I borrow you for a minute? " I gently tap her shoulder. 

"Of course Quinn, what's up?"

"I just wanted to give you this and say goodbye," I hand her a buzz lightyear figure that I won at the carnival after they had left. 

"You won buzz too? And you're leaving already?"

"Yeah, now you have both. My flight is soon," I reply giving her a hug. 

"I'll miss you Quinn. Don't forget me and come visit the next time you're here okay?"

"Definitely," I smile, ignoring the guilty feeling forming at the bottom of my stomach. 

"Now where's your brother?" I glance around looking for Gray.
