I was only eight years old, long, straight blonde hair, green eyes and pale skin. Sometimes I thought I was a vampire. The smartest kid in my grade, social and most popular. My parents, Scott and Marie Almeria were very influential people. My mom worked as a doctor in LA and dad, the most sought -after attorney in the city. I had everything I wanted and my life was perfect. Until that fateful day.......
I had my last class for the day, but stayed back a couple minutes to talk to Mrs. Patterson about my assignment. As we finished up and I exited the building, I got the most petrifying feeling in my stomach. Dad had recently put away one of Italy's notorious crime syndicate while he was caught trafficking cocaine and guns here in the U.S. ever since that encounter, dad had been acting really nervous and extra protective of us. After all, we were a small unit, mom, dad and I. I really thought that he was being extra protective and it was so annoying having to follow all his crazy protocols. I was done! I sighed and began walking to my mom's suv. It was parked oddly a few blocks down the street but i found it strange she'd park that far as there were empty spots literally in front of the building. I rolled my eyes and continued walking. The only thing I can remember was being grabbed out of no where and thrown into a van. It happened so quickly I didnt have time to comprehend what was going on.
I screamed and fought as much as an eight year old could. Three men with their faces covered, spoke in a language i couldnt understand, and easily overpowered me,though one of them would have sufficed, he tied my hands behind my back and gaged me. The last memory of my mom was when the van drove right pass her. "Mom!!!" I tired to shout as tears rolled down my cheek. But she was slouched on the steering wheel, glass half way up with a bullet hole in her forehead.
I was so scared. I began crying and viciously attempting to break free but the last thing I remembered was being given a shot 💉 and I blacked out.
