the chapters may be a little long so I apologize-)

My friend and I were messing around in the tent I set up in my bedroom. We were trying to freak ourselves out before we went to sleep. Not to mention we did have school in the morning. Fortunately, my mother worked later shifts this week, so we didn't have to worry about her busting into my room and forcing us to go to sleep. We just decided to go to sleep around two-thirty in the morning. It's better than staying up all night and only getting an hour of sleep

My friend turns on his flashlight and holds it up to his chin, trying to make himself seem a little more creepier. "Okay, there used to be a playhouse in the woods down a few blocks from your house alright. Once upon a time, there used to be 2 kids who would run there and play all day, or at least until supper time.  They say its a true story but nobody can figure out how they died, heck there bodies weren't even discovered until a year or two later." He explains.
"Oh please, it's probably just some stupid scary stories to scare kids about the woods. I've been in them and never saw a playhouse." I said.

"They say it's pretty deep into it. And anyone who tells the story they start acting a little weird." He says>
"Wait why would you tell me then??" I asked.
"Well, you say it's fake so it shouldn't bother you." He says with a yawn.

"We should just go to bed.." I told him.

He lays into his sleeping bag getting himself all comfortable.
"Oh yeah, Jasper?" I look at him.
"Yeah?"

"Don't forget that you still need to turn in that essay for English class."
"Shit! I completly forgot!" He says.
I shrug my shoulders, it wasn't really my problem anyway.

The next morning I was sitting in the back seat of Math class. Just exciting huh? Math first thing in the freaking morning. It was raining and it was definitely way more interesting to watch drip down the windows than hear Mr. Owen talk about how to do- whatever he was teaching again, it's to stupid to really pay attention to it.
"Zander! Please pay attention to the lesson or I'll give everyone extra homework just from your doing." He shouted out at me.
I groaned but turned towards him and watched his stupid teaching.

After the lesson I was packing up my things to go to my locker before next class started, but Mr. Owen made me go over to his desk.

"Zander, your failing miserably in my class. If you fail this class, even if it's just 1 singular class, they'll hold you back. Do you really want to repeat freshman year again?" He explains, acting all serious as if this math will ever save his life.
"Math really just sucks. Not to mention its to complicated sometimes, I would prefer watching the raindrops drip from the window than have to do math work." I said honestly.
He grabbed the sleeve of my hoodie and made me get even closer to him, and then when I looked at his face he just looked like a massive serial killer. Why was he so pissed off??

"Listen here kid, If you want to be held back that's on you. I'm just trying to get you to have a good grade so you can graduate and have a life. So if you would please, kindly, stop acting like a little shit. That would be appreciative." He explains, with a death glare on his face.

I just give him a nod and quickly walked out of the room as soon as he let my sleeve go. I ran back to my locker to put some stuff away and get some stuff out, and then a note falls out.
When I went to go pick it up someone pushes me up against the locker, faceplanting into it. I turn around and there's the 2 senior jerks who thinks it's funny to pick on freshman. Freshman's to them were just a pile of fresh meat.

"Hey loser, how's life going on?" The older one, Jackson.
"That shouldn't concern you one bit, it's not like you'd care any way" I say under my breath
"Looks like the small weak ones got a big mouth, we should shut him up." The 2 months younger one, Erin.
"Good idea Erin."
