A Present

Just like every vacation morning, I woke up at 7, brushed my teeth, combed my hair, and had breakfast (all of that had finished in an hour). I went to get the newspaper out my door. Oops! I forgot to introduce my family! My name is Jim. My mom and dad have to go to the office every day so I don't see much of them. My sister Mary is a good sister, 2 years younger than me, and she OBEYS everything I want her to do. So you can see that we're a HAPPY family. But this 'Happiness' won't last for long.

Oh! My newspaper! I rushed out, but there was no newspaper, instead, there was a shiny red box wrapped with a golden strip. So basically it was a GIFT. I took it inside, waited patiently for Mary. She finally came out. I told her about the gift.

"Woah! Who sent us this?" She asked.

"I don't know, but I guess that someone is playing a joke on us," I replied.

"There is nobody near here!" Mary said, "Why not open it, then we MAY know WHO sent us this."

I decided to open it, hands trembling, I opened it very carefully, half expecting to see a BOMB inside, but it was something very WEIRD, a DOLL.

"Yoo-hoo! " Mary shouted, "One more doll! I shall call him CHEEKY!"

I looked at the doll, something was very unusual about it...
