𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 10: Eyes Of The Devil

A week after Doctor Craig left.

Belle suddenly got her high fever and she missed him damn much. Gibson couldn't bear to see her like this, barely to leave her alone.

The rumor said, the school began suspecting between Gibson and Belle's relationship. They are suddenly absent.

She makes him worry, he never dares to send Belle to the hospital so he gets help from Craig through the call.

Gibson followed Doctor Craig instruction day by day, carrying Belle inside the bathtub with ice and water on it, letting her body temperature back to normal.

Manage that. He was told what to do and what he had to do to save Belle out from this dangerous sickness.

Her temperature was slowing down, so he took a seat beside the bed. Her skin, her lips totally white and pale. He damp wet towel on her forehead. Belle looked exactly like a ghost bride he had married.

Burning and sweaty sometimes, he rubs the back of his neck.

Since Belle got sick he hadn't had enough sleep, sometimes he went to school to avoid the rumor then quickly went back home for Belle. He even sleeps inside the classroom because of his lack of sleep.

Doctor Craig suggests that Belle must be sent to the hospital for further examination, Gibson refuses because he is afraid Belle is running away but the public he is afraid of the most.

People already know Belle was abducted and he is the culprit. He would rather look after her at home than send her to hospital. He sighs.

"What can I do to see you back to normal? I miss arguing with you, fighting with you. To see you running around the house, your babbling, your cursed mocking words on me. Everything. Please make me annoyed just once".

Belle didn't respond to him. He sighs again before heading his way downstairs.

"Get UP, Belle!" Her eyes wide open again. Emma stood in front of her. "I can't believe you coming back in here after you shout me out".

Belle looked around the room, said. "What happened to me?"

"You sick, Belle! You got a high fever and Gibson helped you out. Look".

There is something you cannot imagine but Belle really can see Gibson inside the house beside her unmoving body on bed. He was looking after her, and he's completely tired.

"Still you want to kill him if you had a chance?"

"I didn't ask to be sick, I just miss Doctor Craig".

"Oh yes that Doctor. You can't ask him to stay with you, Belle he had his own life. Your future is with Gibson not with the Doctor. If you want justice, my justice, what I will tell you is that you will regret it if you hand him over to the police".

Belle shook no, "I will not regret".

"For now, Belle one day you are". Once again Emma pointed out Belle's flat belly. "One day what will you tell them about their dad".

"I am not having HIS baby!"

Emma smiles then she laughs. "That is why you are here, you miss me. Don't be such an ego, Belle you'll see if you act like a five years old kid. Something is going to happen and you need to be ready".

"Like what?"

She smiles, "Be ready, Belle". She jolted from bed again. She is back to reality where Gibson eyes shoot up on her. She is awake now.

"You awake!" his large hand cupped her face. "Oh, Belle, I was so worried about you. Are you hungry or do you need anything I can do for you? Don't do this to me, you scared me to death. I am not ready to let you go if I had to... I will keep you beside me no matter what. No one will take you from me".
