Chapter 8

I tried to push the thought aside I went down to the lobby to find Katie. Katie was sitting down staring into space. Earth to Katie,I said really slowly. I took out my phone and took a picture. I captioned it me in math class. She finally looked up at me.

Jack's pov
I went to find Hayes. When I did he had this look on his face. Uh Hayes?  He looked at me. What happened to you? / Bruh I'm in love! / Can you say that a little, clearer / I am in love with Katie Grace Dallas! / OK I could tell you would do anything to talk to her, but in other news. I may have,  kinda kissed Aryana?  It came out more of like a question.  / All I can say is I can tell you make her happy. Just don't do anything," Stupid ". / I won't do anything " Stupid". The only thing I have to do is deal with Nash.

By now it was time for magcon. We all met in the lobby. I walked over to Aryana, so how you been?  She was so zoned out. Hello, I waved my hand in her face. Still nothing.

Aryanas pov
I was in the lobby trying to remember the words. I didn't want to look like an idiot out there. I was trying so hard but everytime I think about so many people my mind goes blank. It is different when your in front of the screen. There's no pressure.  I haven't sang in front of people since I was 9. I don't know if I can.

I realized that Jack was trying to talk to me. Huh? I said trying g to play it off. Hey, he said smiling.  I looked over to Nash he looked really mad and  looked away in disappointment.  I didn't want to deal with this not here not now.

I walked away from Jack. Wait please don't go, he said. I didn't want to look back, just kept walking. He grabbed my arm. Please don't, I love you. He said on the edge of tears. I just don't know, I said being honest.

The limo pulled up. We all climbed in and drove to the event. I didn't talk to anyone,  I just listened to the song I would be singing.  When we arrived I got out and went inside for mic checks. Can you pleas say something. The sound guy asked me. Say something, I said. Once I was done with sound, checks Katie came to me.

Hey,  she said. Hey,  I said barely.  What's wrong? / I don't know, honestly I don't think Nash even likes me. He hates me and I'll never know why. On top of that I have to sing in front of a whole bunch of people. / well it looks like tomorrow we have a free day so let's just have fun./ Sure fun. / yeah we haven't spent much time together. / Yassss !

The names were being called one by one. Me and Katie ran out together which made me fell more better. We danced told jokes, and the Jack's and Shawn sang. Next was my turn. TODAY we have a special guest performing for us. Ms. Aryana!  I sat on the stool with my guitar and started to strum.
" I was a liar I gave into the fire,
I know I should've fought it.
At least I'm being honest" I sang the, crowd swayed. But my mind wasn't on the crowd, it was on Nash.

When I was done we answered some questions.  Yes you in the red shirt, I said pointing to a girl who fit the description. So how's Jana,  shit I had forgotten about Jana. Jack grabbed the mic,  we're amazing. I knew Nash would be mad. The last few questions were asked and then we signed some things. After we went out to eat and then to the hotel.Once back we all went to sleep.
