Before Leaving part 1

Emily didn't  want to be there.  No, she didn't need to be there. Emily thought  her elder sister  was living  a wonderful life when she left  , while Emily had  7 years of hell.
~~~~~(Minako P.O.V.)~~~~~~~
Emily ran out leaving us in silence.  Natsume looked at me, " Do you want us to go after her?"

I shook my head."No, she has every right to act this way. "

"What happened to her that made her that angry? " Ruka asked.

"I don't  know what happened  while  I was gone. I only know what happened  before  I left. "

"Can you tell us?"  Natsume  asked.

I let out a deep sigh. I've  never told anybody  about why I left but i shouldn't  deal with this alone anymore. I started  thinking about the first day I found out my parents  were  using Emily and me.
               -----FLASHBACK-----
A  7 years old Minako was running the halls of her grandfather's house.  A slit  of light caught her attention. She walked to the open sliding  door and peeked through.  Her father and her grandfather, the current  head of the family,  were talking.
Minako's dad was sitting on the floor while the head paced around the room.

" Where is your brother? " The head asked.

"He should be coming soon," Father reassured him.  Minako's uncle came down the hall and saw little Minako  by the door. He patted her head and put his finger to his lips. "Shhhh." She nodded in response and moved so he can go into the room.

"Sorry I'm late, what is the meaning of calling us here father?" Uncle asked as he sat down next to his brother .

"I'm here to tell you both that I won't be stepping  down from my position as head " Grandfather  looked serious about his decision. Both brothers practically jumped up from the floor.

"What do you mean? " Father looked really worried.

"  I still have a-lot of things to do before I am incapable of moving and honestly neither of you are ready for position as head. "The head said, " I will, however, pass it to one of your children. " He turns to his oldest son, Minako's Father ,  and smiles.  "Apparently you have two children while  your brother has none. So one of your girls could become head.  "  A sigh of relief rushed out of father's lips.  He looks relieved while uncle showed no emotion  at all.  "That is all." Both brothers stood up and bowed .  Father opens the door and looks down at Minako. " We're leaving,  go  and say  your good byes ." Minako walks into the room and hugs uncle. He gives her a pat on the back.  She then races towards her grandfather  and he bends down  to receive her hug.  He whispers in her ear," I'm sorry. " Minako never really understood why he was sorry until a few years later.

-------Three  years later------
Emily  is four years old and Minako is now ten.  Emily is coloring in the room with her elder sister.  Minako's is reading a book on the couch when her mom walks in.
"Minako, why do you have 2 B's on your progress  report?" she asked.  Minako quickly puts down her book and faces her mom. 
" Those classes are very hard,  the highest grade anyone can get is a B," Minako said.

"Then how come you can get A"s  in every other class?

"I-I," Minako stammered.

"If you don't bring "all" of your grades up then Emily will have to pay for it. " Emily stopped coloring at the very mention of her name.

"This has nothing to do with her. " Minako was getting frustrated.

"You care about her a lot so I hope that's enough motivation." Minako's mom walks to Emily and picks her up. With Emily in her arms she leaves the room with a smile. Minako sighed and threw the book she had on table in the trash.  She grabbed her backpack and pulled out her school book.

There will be a part two and the continuation of Minako's story.  I also hate Minako's mother .  She actually does a lot worse to her daughters,  trust me. Well sorry it was short but like I said there's a part two.  Bye
