Chapter 11- Work Sucks

After breakfat with the Lynch's and Ratliff they all went to rehersals and said I could come but only for like 20 because there manager thought I would be a distraction to Riker and the rest of the band. I said I would go. I mean at least I got to see them reherse but I wanted t stay longer. But once we got there they get up did tunning of there insterments which I loved helping them with because I had played violin since 5th grade and even though they had been playing guitar more then me there strings were always like a note off which was a huge difference in music. Before they started playing Ross was holding his guitsr and out of know where dropped it luckly it didn't break because that is one his favorite guitar and second he doesn't have another guitar like it. He had to retune it and I was actully annoyed because he wanted me to help because he didn't want to drop it again. But I did it anyway.

After I tuned Ross's instrument they began working on there new songs and I was so excited cause I never get to here any of there music except for when they hum it as they walked around or I go to a concert. I mean I think there manager didn't want he to hear it cause he thought I would leak it out or something like that. Actually I don't think I know he told me once but I was happy he let me listen today. After 20 minutes I was about to leave Stormie told me that she talked to there manager and he said that I could stay the rest of there rehearsal. I danced around like and idiot and all of R5 laughed at me and there parents. I was used to it and so were they, they always knew I made a fool of myself but they were like family so they was used to it.

As they finished up they told me to sing the rest of there song with them. I was nervous.

Me: " Guys this is  your rehearsal not mine I don't need to sing with you and I don't want to."

Rydel: " Awww. come on Gabby we've all heard you sing before you are amazing. Why won't you sing with us."

Ellington: " Yeah Gabby come on we all love your voice and think you are an incredible singer just please sing Things are Looking Up with us. PLEASE !!!!!! As the rest of R5 chimed in.

Me: " Fine since I know you guys wont leave me alone till I say yes."

Ross started the song and then stopped. I was clueless he said " Gabby help me sing lead in the song PLEASE I will do anything you ask for the next month including your homework." "Fine." I said.

From there we sang the rest of the song in perfect harmony. When we finished the wanted me to finish rehearsals with them. That meant sing every song with them. I wans't nervous after I sang the second song. But by the last song I tried to hit a high note and messed up really bad. My voice scratched like never of them have heard not even me. My throat was also really soar. So, after they packed up Stormie volunteered to take me to the doctor. Riker being the over protective boyfriend he was couldn't take no for an answer. So he was definitaly coming along.
