It had been about a day and you were quickly recovering, thanks to Chopper's incredible medical skills. The others, especially Sanji, were relieved to see you back and up.
The pirates were still onboard, bound and captive on deck since there wasn't exactly a brig for prisoners, as the crew waited for the next land sighting. You had sensed no feelings of hatred towards you from your nakama, only relief and joy. They barely knew you, and yet they cared so much. Sanji had taken upon himself to beat them up again for you, which you honestly didn't mind as they didn't have the chance to spill anything about you to the crew. They hadn't asked why they were after you yet, even though you could sense their curiosity, which you appreciated a lot. You'd rather tell them yourself eventually.
You sighed, taking a walk on the deck feeling naked without a weapon. You had only a regular wooden stick to use as a sort of crutch due to your leg injury that was still healing. Franky was working on making you another quarterstaff, but needed time and materials, namely seastone.
Suddenly, the ship was knocked into the air, and you heard wood breaking below you. A large, yellow Sea King appeared, sending large waves over the ship, rocking it side to side and tipping it over.
Yellow?
It wasn't real. You couldn't see color. It was a vision.
A gasp escaped your lips as you put your hand over where your left eye would be. The area around the glass eye was hurting, as if burning.
"Nami!" You shouted in the direction of Nami's aura, then headed for the helm. "Get the ship out of here!"
Her aura ran towards you, alarmed. "What's wrong?"
"A Sea King is about to attack," you replied quickly. "Are the Cola tanks filled?"
"Yes, but... that can't be right.... The ship's bottom is layered with seastone." She said this more to herself, but then nodded, trusting you and not even questioning how you knew. She took the helm, adjusting the lever next to it.
A low grumble came from below you, and Nami seemed to hear it as well. You sensed Luffy's aura come up, confused and serious. His head tilted, and he seemed to be listening to something other than the rumbles and growls.
The Cola needed time to be shaken, you knew. It was going to be close. You were still recovering energy from your injuries, so your Observation Haki ability was low. The area you were able to "see" was small, but you were able to take account of everyone's positions.
They were all busy, unaware of the incoming danger. Click, Sizzle, and Pop were still bound on the deck, also worried but more about themselves. Zoro jumped down from the crow's nest, hands on the hilt of his swords and staring at the water.
You were getting more anxious the louder the grumbling grew. Finally, Nami pulled the lever for Coup de Burst.
Just as the ship blasted off, you sensed the large aura beneath you, jumping up out of the water and almost taking a bite out of the Sunny. Thankfully it missed, and the ship sailed in the air, away from the fish. It splashed down a moment later, rocking back and forth from the impact.
Zoro relaxed, his hands falling from his scabbards, knowing there was no danger now.
Luffy huffed, jumping down next to you. "Why'd we run? I bet it was going to be delicious!"
Nami hit him on the head, aura frustrated. "It would have thought the ship was delicious!" Her voice was still shaky from that close encounter. "Sunny would have been able to take it, though I didn't want to take the risk."
Your captain laughed, ignoring the hit. "I could've taken it down fine!"
You laughed, looking over to Nami. Luffy wouldn't listen to logic. "There's no 'I' in team, but there is 'meat' if you switch the first and last letters."
Luffy laughed again, heading back to the kitchen where he was before, possibly reminded of meat from your words.
Nami sighed, but smiled at him as he left, then turned to you. "So, how'd you know that would happen?"
You shook your head, surprised at yourself for knowing that. "I... don't know. Just a gut feeling."
"Well, it sure helped to know," Zoro said, starting to make his way back up. You could sense the curiosity he had, but he held off asking more. He suddenly stopped, staring back at the pirates.
<+>
Zoro sensed something wrong when the ship was in the air. He immediately turned to the pirates, alarmed. They were trying to take advantage of the distraction to escape. Click's hands were free, the ropes he had used instead of seastone cuffs on the ground, cut. He was picking the lock on Sizzle's cuffs. And Pop, as he looked closer, had a sort of bubble coating on his wrists under where the cuffs were, preventing the seastone from touching his skin.
Those bastards....
Zoro leapt down, unsheathing his swords and preparing for a fight. Click was most likely less dangerous without his bow and ammunition, but with Sizzle and Pop free, it was going to be more difficult.
He saw you psyching yourself up, both hands on your wooden stick. You had noticed as well.
Nami looked between him and you, confused until she spotted the pirates. "How did they get out?"
Zoro cursed at himself. He should've been more careful when binding them. How did he not notice sooner?
