Raavi wrote the black dress which Rishita had given her. It was unlike anything she'd ever worn but she could see how hot she looked in it. It was short, and sleeveless, but Raavi loved how she looked in it. She took a couple of snaps wearing it and again changed into her usual clothes. Then she went out to make evening tea for the family. However, tea was already made. So she sat beside Rishita who kept a place for her. Raavi showed her her pictures and both of them discussed how amazing she looked. They sat and talked about fashion for sometime. Raavi liked this version of Rishita. She felt like a friend.
"Shiva ke toh hosh hi udd gaye honge tumhe aisi dress mein dekha hoga. Waise bhi tum humesha aisi Indian dresses pehen ke rakhti ho." Rishita said.
Raavi wished to test that theory. She saw Shiva sitting with Krish and chatting away. He had his phone in his hand. She texted him the pictures. Shiva's phone vibrated and he opened the pictures Raavi sent him. Raavi saw him almost spit up his tea.
"Kya hua tujhe?" Krish asked.
Shiva quickly put his phone away and shook his head. He looked at Raavi with a glare and she, in turn winked at him. Shiva just couldn't figure out what Raavi was trying to do. Now, she returned to talking to Rishita as if nothing had happened. Once Rishita left, Shiva quickly took her place and sat beside Raavi.
"Yeh kya tha?" Shiva asked.
"Kya kya tha?"
"Ae mami ki behen ki beti, tere dimaag mein kya chal raha hai?"
"Mere dimaag mein toh kuch nahi chal raha par lagta hai tere dimaag ke ghore zaroor daur rahe hai. Isliye tujhe lag raha hai ki mere dimaag me kuch chal raha hai." Raavi said.
"Yeh kya baatein ghuma rahi hai. Mujhe woh pictures kyu bheje?"
Raavi suddenly noticed Prafulla glaring at her. She noticed why. Shiva was sitting way too close to her and they were whispering so that the rest of the family couldn't hear them. It must have looked intimate from outside. Her Maasi really needed to learn that they were husband and wife and that they could sit close to each other. It was none of her business.
"Tera reaction dekhna chahti thi. After all tu mera pati hai." Raavi said, as she leaned closer to Shiva.
Shiva was stumped at her behaviour. "Ab chipkali ko bikini bhi pehna do toh woh chipkali hi rahegi."
Raavi was surprised and mad. He called her chipkali instead of praising her and now he spoke of a bikini.
"Tu mujhe bikini pehene dekhna chahta hai?" Raavi asked.
"Ae gadheri. Dimaag nahi hai toh use karna bandh kar." Shiva blushed. What was wrong with this mami ki behen ki beti?
Raavi put her hand on his thigh and leaned even close. She saw the shocked expression in Prafulla's face. "Dekh tu sharma mat. Mann mein aisi koi ichha ho na toh bol dena. Shayad main woh pure kar du." She winked.
Looking at Shiva's shocked expression, Raavi got up to help Dhara with the dishes. Dhara was washing the dishes and Raavi was wiping the plates and keeping them in her place.
"Raavi, ek baat puchu? Bura nahi manegi na?" Dhara asked.
"Pucho na Dhara di."
"Pichle do dino se mujhe meri pehli waali Raavi dikh rahi hai. " Dhara said. "Kya yeh pehli waali Raavi apne shaadi ko ek chance de payegi?"
Raavi thought about it. She had already given her marriage a chance. Not only that, she accepted it too. It surprised her when she realised it. She held no feeling of animosity towards her husband or their marriages. Perhaps forgetting grudges did help. Raavi smiled back at Dhara and nodded.
"Par aap uss bhootnath ko bhi samjha do." Raavi pouted. "Woh mujhe abhi bhi maami ki behen ki beti samajhta hai."
"Yeh baat main nahi samjha sakti. Tujhi ko samjhani paregi ki tu maami ki behen ki beti nahi, Raavi hai. Yaad hai shaadi se pehle kaise zid pakdi thi ki tu Shiva se kaise khud ko accept karwayegi. Abhi bhi wahi zid pakad le. Shiva tere zid ke saamne apni zid bhul jayega."
Raavi hugged her Dhara di tightly. She had given her the best advice to win over Shiva. Both of them were extremely stubborn, but Raavi was even more stubborn than Shiva. She became a Pandya bahu, no matter how he tried to stop her. Now she was his wife and he was going to accept her as his wife, no matter what.
