Durring The Meeting-

Why do they never ask me what I think? Canada thought to himself as France and England argued over nothing, and America was yelling at the top of his lungs. It's like I don't exist! He crossed his arms and squinted his eyes. Spain was having a calm discussion with Japan and Russia sat at the back of the room glairing at everyone in turn. "You guys! We need to figure this out!" America slammed his fists on the table

"Maybe..." Canada tried to speak, but was cut off by England yelling at America that he and France were not being sexual. France let go of the front of England's shirt and America laughed loudly. "Oh why bother?" Canada put his head down and closed his eyes.

When he woke up the meeting room was emty except for two people. France and England were finishing up an argument. Canada stood and closed his note book and turned off the projector America left on like always. England went storming out and France sat down grumpily. "Hey France...?" Canida hesitently tried to get Frances' attention. He looked up. "I fell asleep... M-may I barrow your notes?" France smiled. "Of course!" He spoke softly in his accent and handed over his notes with a wink. "Are you feeling alright? You usually don't fall asleep at meetings." France seamed genuinly concerned. "Oh... I'm well... J-just..." He stuttered. "I-I was just being ignored so i... Hey you noticed me?" Canada nurvously coppied the notes. "Of course dear boy! How could I not? You are the kindest and most beautiful out of this group of ignerant countries." France winked again. Canada handed back the note book with a shocked look.

"R-really? It's just... Everyone ignores my comments, a-and most of the time confuse me with America." Canada looked at France with a curious look. "Here, let's walk." France said. "We can get dinner, or go to a park? I don't know you well..." France smiled softly at the scared Canada. All Canada could do was nodd. France held his elbow out for Canada to grab. He shakily took the man's elbow and they walked.

They settled at a quaint coffee shop in the middle of a town square. "New York is beautiful no?" France winked. "I guess ya..." Canada shrugged. "I love getting out of my home and visiting the other countries... But America and England don't like me much." France looked lonley. Canada smiled. "I know the feeling." He looked up at the stars. "It's late isn't it? Do you have a place to stay? I have an appartment her for when I come to visit America, he's my brother you know? You could stay with me if you like...?" Canada was shaking slightly. He wasn't used to talking thi much. France smiled. "That would be lovley! I'm not well off with money right now. What with England refusing to help." he looked sadly at Canada.

They walked slowly to Canada's appartment; they talked about how mad they were about everyone nigleckting them, America's loudness, England's anger issues and Russia's scaryness. Canada felt great getting closer to another country. France asked him about hocky, and if he would make pancakes for breakfast. Canada asked France about the parties he threw and what food he ate. They were becoming friends. Canada didn't know that feeling. When it began to set in, he was confused. "Are you alright?" France asked in his sweet acent. "O-oh yeah. I'm just not used to... You know, talking." France winked. "Me either dear boy."

They arived at the appartment half past ten. Canada was tired, but he didn't want to go to sleep. Frances' hair was messy and his eyes dark. Canads just realised how beautiful France was. "I-I don't have a guest bed... So you can sleep on the couch o-or." He stumbled over his world. France placed his hand on Canada's shoulder. "The couch sounds great." He winked. Canada found blankets and pillows in the closet and made a sort of nest for France on the couch. He got him a glass of water and handed over the TV remote.

"Is there anything else I can get you?" Canada asked softly. France shook his head. "This is perfect. Thank you Canada." France smiled. Canada flushed and went to his room to get readdy for bed.
