SABITA POV:

Captain: Detectives! This is one of our biggest cases. We have received a letter from our murder a week ago but we just found it now due to the post office for the delay. And the murder has already been done. Sabita and ram would like you explain the rest of the case?

I nodded and turned to see akshay face which said 'ennaku munadiyae intha case unnaku theiriyuma' look. I just gave him a small smile and walked up to the presenting screen and switched to the next picture. And let the officers read the contents of the letter.

'Hello officers And captain! Just wanted to let you know that my bloodlush has started pumping up and my first murder of the series will be on 10th of June. Adavali. There you go I even said the place. Stop it if you could. And show me how good of a team you are. Catch me if you can.

Sabita: guys! Here are the contents of the letter. As you can see this is a handwritten one and it's 2021. And we need to find meaning of A.

Akshay raised his hand and said

Aksahy: can we assume the age of the murder? I assume may be around 30s to 40s? This generation most of the people wouldn't have this type of style to commit a murder.

Sabita: I don't think we can until we see the way he/she murder this poor old woman.

I switched to the next slide. To a woman in her 50s laying down in a puddle of blood as the injury was in the back of her head. And knife going through her throat. I have seen many murder cases so far in my 5 year of experience but this one is just different and I can feel it.

Sabita: this is Akshaya varma. She was 51 years old and as per the forensic report the murder happened atleast 1 hour ago until our crew found about it. And she was hit by a lamp on the head really hard and then stabbed in the throat and she lost her life. And this happened in a super old supermarket down the street of adavali.

I switched to the picture of the supermarket. And handed the rest to ram Anna to explain further.

Ram: akshaya was the owner of the supermarket and this happened around 7 am this morning and usually they open at 8 am. So the killer must have known about this. So what happened between the murder and the victim is a question. ( while enquiring about the surrounding people all had only good thing to say about her and they meant it. So we don't know the intentions he had to kill this sweet woman)

(We switched of our presentation and while walking to my seat I pinched him a little playful and sat down but that man just focused on his notes)

And want you to investigate the place and inquire the family and find the culprit. And I would like to appoint sabita and akshay as the main detectives for this.

We both gaped at him and was about to complain about workings together as most of our cases we just argue and let the culprit run.

Captain made us shut up in his words and walked away. I turned to akshay as he was already looking at me. I just smiled at him and gave him a handshake. While he wasn't that interested but shook hands.

My heart skipped a beat at that maa.

I was waiting for an answer but just stood and walked away. Not gonna lie kinda hurts but I know he's just into the case.

Sadvik Anna came and sat beside me

I stood up and collected our equipments and drove to the murder place.

Sabita: so she said that you guys were having a day off?

Employe: yes ma'am. She called us yesterday night after shift and told us to take a day off cause we've been working overtime. She was a really good person.

I noted it all down and saw an old man walk in. Oru vela Akshaya oda husband ah (is it akshaya's husband?) I turned to the young woman who works here.

Sabita: is that Mr. Varma?

She nodded and said it was him. I dismissed her and turned to find akshay. But he already was enquiring Mr. Varma. I walked up to them and listened to akshay enquire him.

Aksahy: So you came home from a aboard  to find your wife not there?

I started to admire him and that serious look on his face. Nala moojiya oorunu vachikitu.

Mr. Varma:  I knew she would be in the market so I didn't worry about her safety until I got a call from the cbi...

I studied his body language. He doesn't look like he's grieving his wife's death. He looks stable and dry eyes. I started suspecting him. Gotta find out what happened between him and akshaya.

I started checking the surroundings and found ripped cloths covered in blood, the weapon the murder used to hit head to lead her to unconsciousness, some boxes. And I kept looking around to find news paper lying down. I opened it to find out some scribbles on it. I tried to figure it out until I found some like Bill papers along with it.

If akshaya was gonna close the supermarket today. Why did she come in? Did she knew? Did the murder threatened her?
