chapter I.

Helloooo my fellow demigods and pernico shippers! :3 i decided not to continue my old fanfiction and to write a completely new one! I hope you are going to like it, and i will try to post a new chapter at least once a week. :) enjoy and please, send some feedback if possible. Thank youuuuu!

The alarm rang. I didn't know what day it was for a while. I wasn't used to hear he alarm during the summer. But then i remembered. Today is going to be a very important day. My girlfriend, Annabeth, is returning from California today. I am going to pick her up on the airport. Oh and yes, I am pretty nervous about it. We haven't seen each other for a month. She went to California to see her father. Normally she lived with Piper here in New York. Everything has to be perfect today. I am not going to take her home, but we are going to the beach and then out for a dinner and then...i don't know yet. I need to plan this as soon as possible. Anyways, i gotta get up. After a long time of staring into my closet i decided to put on a tshirt with sea on it. I have to admit that i really love the sea and the colour blue. It helps me to relax in stressful situations, so i just had a feeling that this tshirt could help me to deal with all the stress. Don't ask me why. I quickly put on black shorts and dark blue Vans and i went to the bathroom to brush my teeth. Then i entered the kitchen, but i didn't see my mum.

"Goodmorning mum!" i yelled. She entered the kitchen, closed the door to her and Paul's room and smiled when she saw me. "Hi Percy" she said. "Where is Paul?" i asked. She looked confused for a while. "He.. he left...to...to...t-t buy some bread for breakfast. Yes. Bread." she said. "Mum, you were never a good liar" i said with a smirk on my face and I hugged her. She laughed and opened her mouth to say something, probably to explain why was she lying when the doorbell rang. I ran to open the door. What i saw surprised me.

I saw Paul standing there with a giant blue cake with my name and the number 18 on it. "Surprise" he said with a smile on his face. I didn't know what to say. Paul entered the kitchen and put the cake on the table. I ran to him and hugged him. My mum was just standing by the door and smiling. "Come here Sally, lets do a triple hug" said Paul. She joined us in the hug. "Happy birthday my little boy. I know that you are 18 now and I shouldn't call you like that, but i just had to. You will always be my little boy Percy." mum said. I was glad that noone could see us, it would be pretty embarrassing if my friends heard about that. I laughed and my mum kissed me on the forehead. We sat down and ate the cake together.

I parked my car to the garage at the JFK airport and I entered the arrivals section and waited for Annabeth's blonde hair to show up. I still couldn't see her. After like 20 minutes the door closed. I panicked. Did she miss the  plane? Is she okay? I was really really worried. But then i finally saw a blonde haired girl in an orange tshirt, sitting in the hallway. I only saw her from the back, but i was 100% sure it was her. I ran to her and covered her eyes from the back. She quickly jumped up and turned around. What I saw, surprised me even more than Paul with the cake. The girl wasn't Annabeth.
