Sleepers of Hell's Kitchen

Introduction!

hi all,

i'm sorry, i personally hate it when writers put useless introduction at the first page but pls take your time to read this first!!!

so this story is based on the film and book: Sleepers by Lorenzo Carcaterra. i saw the film and i was so fascinated about it, i am literally obsessed and i was kinda sad to find no fan fiction books. i found one very short, incomplete one, with a very good start of the story which motivated me to write one myself.

so i did!!!

important notes:
- there is no specific time the story takes place in this book. i won't have any electronic stuff like our phones and laptops these days, but it is not specifically based in 1960, i leave that up to your own imagination!
- in the film and book the guys are very young, with only 11-13 years of age. there's no age in this book, once again i left it all up to your own imagination!
- all rights go to the original book and film, this is just based on the film and book!! i, in no way, take credits for anything.
- the start of the book will be based and inspired by the other 'Sleepers' fan fiction i found, i really liked the beginning of her book, but sadly she decided to not finish the story, so i thought i would use her story line to start mine with, just because i liked it so much. all credits go to her.
- this story is only based on their childhood days, their time before they went to the detention center, their time there & shortly after when all 5 of them decide to live on and each going their own path. so there won't be any ,murder' committed or court trials like in the film and book!
- the story will be mostly Shakes & Lina's pov. sometimes i'll add parts of pov from the other boys!
