First day

Jackson Morrison POV
Today I was starting my new job as an English teacher at Waterloo road I had to meet Rachel Mason and the head of department so I decided to get changed and ready I got changed in a black shirt with dress trousers with dress shoes

When I drove into school in my 1980 Jeep CJ5 everyone was staring and I know why because I was new I got out of my jeep and I grabbed my bag putting it on my shoulder I walked in through the school doors and smiled at people who smiled or looked at me I walked up to Rachel Mason's office I heard someone say "come in" so I opened the door walked in and closed it behind me "hello Rachel Mason I'm Jackson Morris the new English teacher" "hello Jackson give me 5 minutes while I go and get Tom Clarkson please sit down" I nodded while she left I sat down I immediately started to get nervous my leg started to shake I heard the door open I stood up "hi Mr Clarkson I'm Jackson Morrison I'm the new English teacher" "hello Jackson just call me Tom I'll show you the staff room" I nodded and followed him he smiled at everyone "everyone this is Jackson Morrison Jackson this is Max, Helen, Joe, Steph, Chris and Kim" "Hi everyone" they all replied with hello Tom then asked me "Tea or coffee" "non thanks I'm going to stick to my water at the minute" he nodded Steph then walked up to me "so do you have a girlfriend" "no there not really my type" "so do you have a boyfriend" "no not at all" she smiled at me Tom put his hand on my shoulder "let's get you to your new classroom ok" I nodded I learnt some of the names of some people in my class like

That was all I learnt before the bell rang Tom decided to leave me to it I smiled at him when he left and I smiled at everyone that came in I put the seating plan on the board "alright everyone come in nice and quietly please and find your seats" loads of girls where staring at me I decided on just getting back to teaching we were talking about a book called the outsiders it's made by S.E Hinton that's when Amy shouted out "Oi sir are you single" I saw her fiddling with her top so I just looked away "that's non of your business" I just decided to ignore questions like that I saw a boy run through the door "Sir I know you're new but it's Mr Clarkson" I nodded "alright everyone continue with your work I'll be back" I ran down the corridor to his room and saw Tom knocked out "alright everyone out someone go get Miss Mason and get her to call an ambulance" everyone left I saw one boy run to get Miss Mason I kneeled next to Tom I checked his pulse he definitely had on I opened his airway "Tom can you hear me" I heard him groan and I saw the blood coming out of his head he tried to get up "Tom no don't get up you're bleeding" I lifted his head of the ground because it's definitely unclean the only fabric I had was my shirt so I took it of and put it under his head "you're ok Tom it's me Jackson" he looked like he was going to throw up so I got a bucket so he could I kept the shirt on his head to keep pressure maintained and I rubbed his back Rachel and Chris ran in Rachel got down next to him "Jackson they can't get up here there's to many people" I nodded "Chris help me get him up please Rachel can you hold that shirt to his head but first Tom does your neck or back hurt" he shook his head me and Chris wrapped each of his arms around our shoulders and got him up we realised it we be hard to get him down the stairs so I decided on trying to lift him which he wasn't as heavy as I thought he'd be I was able to carry him to the ambulance he croaked out before I left "Jackson come with me please" I looked at Rachel she nodded so I got in and held his hand "it's going to be ok Tom"
