•Y/N's POV•

I was sat on my bed with my bad thoughts taking over once again, I felt myself begin to cry as the urges grew stronger. I knew I couldn't let myself get back into that habit, I went to find Cordelia, she always helps me when I get like this. I looked in the greenhouse first, I peered round the door to see if she was in there, she was, she saw me and she said in her soft voice,

"Oh darling what's wrong come here."

I listened, I came into the green house and sat next to her. She once again asked me what was wrong in a soothing tone. I told her, crying even more,

"I'm failing I'm a failure I fail everything there's no point even trying."

She cupped my cheek with her hand, looked me in my eyes and said to me,

"Oh Y/N, you're not a failure you're doing amazing I promise I'm so proud of you darling."

"But I feel like I am." I replied.

She once again reassured me that I was doing great and that she was proud of me. I looked into her beautiful brown eyes and could see that she genuinely ment it and I felt a bit better. She gave me a hug before inviting me to stay in the greenhouse with her. I took her up on her offer and I was in the greenhouse with her for a while helping her with the plants, that has always been something I love doing with Delia we both share our love for nature and we always have lovely conversations while doing so. I must've stayed in the green house with her for hours before we went back inside to get some dinner. I felt much better after spending that time with her.

*Later that evening*

I was in my room like always just listening to my music while getting some work done and a particular song came on that reminded me of my love for Delia. Knowing that she would never love me the way I love her, I began to cry. I sat there crying for about 15 minutes. I then heard a knock on my door but before I could say anything,

"Y/N can I come in?"

I heard someone say, I recognised the voice straight away, it was Delia. I quickly wiped away my tears and answered her,

"Yeah sure."

I was trying to sound happy so she wouldn't know I was upset again. She opened the door and looked over at me. I smiled at her and asked her what she needed. She walked over and sat next to me on my bed looked at me and said,

"Y/N I heard you crying is everything okay do you want to talk about it."

I shrugged my shoulders, looked down and reassured that everything was fine and that it was nothing. She lifted my head up by my chin and told me,

"You can talk to be about anything you know."

I began to sob.

"It's stupid." I said looking away from her again.

"If its making you this upset its not stupid Y/N." she replied in a soothing tone.

I hesitantly told her, "there's this girl..."

"Girl?" She questioned.

"Yeah, girl. I like her but I know she could never like me back, she's the most amazing, beautiful and caring person I know."

After I said that Delia looked sad, she looked down at the ground and tucked her silky blond hair behind her ear. She looked back up at me,

"Y/N Can I ask, who she is?" She said to me, she sounded sad too.

I thought maybe she was sad because she liked me and thought I was talking about someone who isn't her, but then I realised, why would she like me shes amazing and I'm, well I'm not. I didn't want to tell her it was her because I don't think I can handle being rejected by her. I just don't think I'd survive it.

"I can't tell you that." I answered to her question.

"I completely understand if you're not ready to tell me who but Y/N, I'll say this, whoever she is, she is lucky to be loved by someone as wonderful as you. She'd be a fool to let you get away."

"Thank you Dee."

"Anytime darling, are you going to be okay?" She asked.

"Yeah I'll be fine." I reassured her.

"Okay Y/N, goodnight."

"Night."

She left my room and closed the door behind her. I laid on my bed just thinking about those words she had said. I kept asking myself what if she likes me back, but I also kept telling myself she would never like me back. After laying there thinking for almost 2 hours I eventually drifted off to sleep.
