Kasper is waiting for Kieran to return. He's nervous. He doesn't what to say. All he knows is that he needs to explain himself and make Kieran his.
He's blaming himself as to why he was so stupid to do such things. He acknowledged his feelings long before. He's just afraid and that's what made him do all of that foolishness.
Biting his fingernails, he heard the door opened. He stands up fast. He saw the man he's waiting and longing for. His Kieran. His mate.
"Kieran!" Kasper called out. Kieran just looked at him expressionlessly.
He averted his eyes and was about to go upstairs when Kasper holds his arm.
"Wait."
Kieran just slightly tilts his head. Kasper smelled the same scent of a wolf he smelt before on Kieran.
"Where were you?" His voice became cold because of jealousy.
Kieran knew that and used it to start Blue's plan. To make him taste his own medicine.
"Somewhere." Kieran simpered.
"Where is that somewhere?" Kasper asked again clenching his jaw.
"Somewhere where I am accepted. I'm tired. I'm going to sleep." Kieran said pulling back his arm.
"Can we talk? Please?" Kasper said. His voice softened. Kieran faced him.
"Alright, what is my brother wanted to talk about?" Kieran said emphasizing the word brother.
"I'm sorry." Kasper said. Kieran knew that his brother learned about their birth. His parents didn't know he knew about it.
He made sure to secure it. He told his P'Kōri and P'Feu that he knew they are reporting to his papa.
"For what? For rejecting me multiple times? Or for treating me like shit? Or for hurting me repeatedly? Which one are you sorry for?" Kieran asked holding his tears.
"For everything. I'm sorry for being an idiot. I'm sorry for hurting you and denying you. I'm sorry for being a coward." Kasper said. His tears are already flowing.
"What made you change your mind?" Kieran asked. He's afraid what Kasper will answer him. What if it's only because he learned that they are not siblings?
"The thought of you leaving me for good, the rejection, and the way you looked at me earlier in that room, all of it. It all made me realize that I am wrong. My judgments were all wrong. I thought it's better if we stay brothers but no.
I don't want to stay as brothers. I....
Kasper didn't finish and he chokes on his sobs, falling on his knees. Kieran looked through his mind and he saw everything.
