CLEMENTINE HAD BEEN standing between Corey and Shawn while they watched two sophomores make out. In her opinion, it was kind of weird but the way they were going at it was entertaining "Richard and Cindy?" Corey's voice cracked "very deeply in love!"
"since when?" his face was scrunched up "lunch, everyone knows they're together your late" she patted the boy's head given she was taller than him.
"What did they eat?" "I don't know but it doesn't look like it was enough!" Shawn said once Mr. Feeny walked down the stairs.
"Ah, Mr heckle and Mr jeckle, clementine, don't we have classes to attend?" Feeny now stood infront of the three "Mr. Feeny shouldn't you break them up or hose them down or something?" Corey complained.
"Oh I wouldn't interrupt their tryst Mr. Matthews!" he excused the two "they're both a-minus students and happily struck by cupid!"
"So if they were c-minus students you wouldn't let them kiss?" the two students repopulating in the hallway broke up and made their way to class "school policy don't you know?" "so I can't kiss?"
"With your grades Mr. Matthews you can't even shake hands!" "Just watch me feeny by the end of the year I plan to have an A-plus and a hickey!"
"Dare to dream Mr. Matthews!" Mr feeny patted his shoulder before walking away "holy cow jerry and Shoshana?" Corey was surprised.
"deeply!" clementine spoke "is the whole world paired off?" he asked as multiple couples passed through the hallways "is there a list somewhere so I can find out what girls assigned to me?" coreys sentence was breathy.
"That's not how things work someone doesn't get assigned to you Corey" clementine rolled her eyes, standing close to Shawn "you want a girlfriend?" Shawn inquired.
"No! not a girlfriend, just a girl who's like a friend but not a girlfriend!" Corey was defensive the new girl walked out from a classroom behind them "how about her? how bout the new girl?" they all turned to follow her movements.
"No! I mean I don't know her, shut up! I want someone I know!" Corey defended, Shawn smirked and narrowed his eyes-looking at clementine "I want someone I know! someone who knows me!"
"What about clem?" shawns arm found her shoulder something that started to happen a lot and Clementine wasn't uncomfortable with it but she still moved his arm "um, no not what about clem I'm right here!"
"no, someone like uh...Topanga!" Corey walked off with her, Shawn just turned to clementine with that weird grin on his face "what Shawn?"
"I'm just smiling, I'll walk you to class!" Shawn insisted "I can't stop you from following me."

Shawn and clementine had the same class, along with Corey "well, dubens out sick again" Shawn flipped through his empty binder, he had nothing written on any of the pages. Every single page you turned to had been empty which made clementine wonder what his grades looked like. "Health teach sick again? not a lot of credibility!" Corey sat on the desk.
"I wonder what kind of creepy substitute we got today" Shawn sounded bored as he continued to scan through the empty pages "Shawn why are all the pages empty?" clem leaned over and asked.
"that's because I don't write in them sweetheart" Shawn stated the obvious, "I'm not an imbecile, of course, that's why the pages are blank I meant why don't you take notes?"
"oh, because I don't feel like it" Shawn nodded his head "you should take notes" she stammered, looking at him intensely.
Shawn smiled "what do I get out of it?"
Clementine's nose turned upwards, thinking of what to say next "a better chance to have a future?" clementine was unsure "eh that sucks how about a date?" Shawn smirked his usual annoying smirk. She rolled her eyes.
"as if!"'she scooted away from the teenage boy clementine wasn't ever going to go on a date with him and she had her many reasons one being that it would ruin the whole dynamic because relationships don't last especially in junior high-the other one relating to the way he's been acting around the opposite gender.
And she just didn't like him, a model-like woman sashayed through the classroom doors. She was really, really pretty "wow" coreys sentence was more air than words "that is no substitute that is the real thing!" Shawn stopped turning through his blank pages.
He closed his binder quickly and rushed to the front of the classroom, changing his seats "Good afternoon class I'm ms kelly I'll be filling in for Mr duben for the next few days!" the woman had a broad voice "on behalf of the entire class id like to say, stay as long as you like!"
Corey and clementine exchanged looks "Now right now you seem to be covering-" Shawn cut her off, pointing at the paper "CPR and I'm today's dummy" he flirted.
"-No, actually, we seem to be up to human reproduction" A group of blonde girls in the front laughed and whispered to each other "which I hope we can discuss in a mature fashion" kelly looked at them
"Oh, stop being so young you know I'm not as young as they are. I've stayed back like fifty times" Shawn was smiley again "really? how old are you?" the teacher asked.
Clementine found it weird that she was even entertaining this any other teachers, feeny, would've told him to sit down by now "really? what are you doing in a seventh-grade classroom?" she questioned the boy. "I'm a cop"
clementine rolled her eyes she wasn't jealous or anything "sit down" kelly demanded, but in clementines opinion, she should've been done that ages ago. "All right but...I'm watching you!"
"All right who can tell us the name of the organ where the eggs are stored?" she walked in circles "officer?" she bent down to his level "sorry ms kelly I don't have that stuff I can name the stuff I have!" Shawn flirted again.
Clementine raised her hand "what's your name?" the teacher asked "clementine!"
"Yes clementine you may answer!" kelly turned in her direction "the eggs are stored in the ovaries ma'am" clementine was expressionless.
"clementines right" she turned to Corey "what are the ovaries?" kelly asked to make sure the zoned-out boy was listening "oh the ovaries the- O- yeah!" Corey did random hand movements
"Try to know these answers, your future will be brighter!" ms kelly announced, turning around and heading back to the board.
