Very soon, it was time to leave for the party. You quickly chuck on a miniskirt, long, black knee high socks, a light blue crop top, and a chain around your neck. You looked like a fairy, beautiful and breathtaking, yet you didn't see it, society's fault. The problem was, you were built like a toothpick, and picked on for it, you hated yourself. You wanted validation and wanted to be built like everyone else- wide chest, wide hips, short. But you weren't. You sigh shakily and make your way quickly back to school. The playground was decorated with buntins, 'white' fairy lights that were tinted yellow with age. You soon spot Jay, he was wearing a neat tux and had his fluffy hair bushy and bouncy, smudged eyeliner under his slanted eyes.

'Hiya!' you greet him, and throw your arms around his warm, soft neck.

'Hey, y/n!' he lets you down, unhooking your legs from around his abdomen. 'you look beautiful, y/n, absolutely gorgeous.' he looks you up and down before putting a long finger under your chin, to lift you to look into his eyes.

'Thank you, pup.' you mutter, he loved the word 'pup.' you knew that because he had severe mommy issues, he had never had a maternal figure in his life. He grins, you and Jay walk in together, hands entwined together. You have a few meaningless, sweet conversations with him, before he waves goodbye to you to dance with his date. She was pretty, she had beach-blond hair which always was curled up painfully tight, ocean-blue eyes with perfect lips. You buy yourself a small plastic cup of martini, and sit in a corner. Jay had left you for Anna. You just wanted to cry, you weren't mad at him, you were angry at yourself. You had nobody to dance with.

You suddenly feel a soft hand on your shoulder. You glance up, oh my God. She was beautiful. Your crush, that left you questioning your sexuality, she was there. She had light brown, short hair with a messy fringe, pale brown-green eyes that were not quite hazel, a perfect nose, white gleaming teeth and natural lips.

'You look sad, darling.' she says softly, helping you up. You stare into her eyes, oh my God, oh my God this was really happening!

'Uhh, don't worry Eve, um, Evelyn, it's nothing, i...' you stammer. Fuck! Fucking stutter that, stutter this! PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER!

'hush, puppy.' she whispers, and presses her finger against your quivering mouth. 'Let me buy you some food.' she smiles gently, and takes your slender hand in hers. Your heart beats faster, you could smell her perfume which seemed to play with your heartstrings and mess with your brain. She orders you a small cupcake, and takes you to the corner you were just alone in, that corner, wow. You've cried so much in there, the white, plain wall you always had your back against always seemed to laugh at you. Evelyn holds your hand and hugs you gently.

'Now, are you really okay, y/n?' she whispers in your ear, and hugs you tighter.

'yeah, I just never have anyone to love. Its becoming a pain.' you say, peeling the pink wrapping off your cute little cupcake. She frowns as you rest your head on her shoulder.

'It's okay, baby.' Evelyn pauses. 'same here. I'm gay, no girls here are lesbian. Yet they're so hot, i know I can't have them.'

you smile discreetly. You weren't straight, you wanted her so bad. 'I'm questioning. I like women, but I don't feel lesbian-' she hushes you and stares into your eyes. It was happening.

you shut your eyes.
