Chapter 2

P.o.v Angeli

Is he seriously... Yup, he is... Mr. Hot Stuff not on the Wall is sniffing my hair... SNIFFING ME!! I try to get away from this creepy dude and he growls. I raise my eyebrows at him "What the HELL do you think you are doing. Or a better question is WHO THE HELL ARE YOU??!!?!?!" Glaring at him I notice that his eyes have gotten much darker. We both continue to stare at each other in awkward silence until Octavian clears his throat and stands up "Well this is very interesting" He sighs and continues "Now if you gentlemen don't mind, I would like to talk to Angeli for a moment about some business..." Mr. Creepy Hot Stuff stands to his full height and looks at his uncle in defiance "Uncle Octavian, I understand that but I'm not leaving my mate right now. NOT. FOR. ONE. MINUTE. So you can please continue with what you are going to say to everyone, Uncle" UNCLE?!? Octavian has a family?! When the hell did that happen? Octavian looks just as stunned and surprised as I did. Then he nods slowly "Already then"  He then looks to me and walks towards to his desk. Picking up a folder I notice a slight change in his demeanor. Then he somberly walks around his desk and towards the back of the room where I'm at. "Here you go, this is your next assignment. You should get going soon, it's a long drive away and....." I raise my eyebrow "I don't have a car to, I just moved back here. Remember?" Hotness pushes himself off the wall and stalks towards the both of us. "I can transport her to where ever she needs to go Uncle" He then sits into the seat he was originally sitting in when I got here. Rolling my eyes, I completely ignore what he just said and look back to Octavian "Okay so what kind of trouble is this one? Demon, Angel, fae, what is it this time?" Octavian doesn't make eye contact and looks at the folder in my hand ''How about you just look". I stare at the cover of the folder for a second and then I slowly start to open it. Looking inside I just skim through the names. Something catches my attention so I read the names again. realizing what I am reading I drop the folder. It just doesn't make any sense, How could they get on this list? I mean they are just humans anymore, both of them. I look at Octavian and he just nods as if understanding my confusion. How could my parents, the banished Angel, my mother and demon, my father be on any type of hit list? I understand that when they had me they went against every rule and they were banished because of it.  The realization hits me like a ton of bricks, I have to go and kill my parents.
