Chapter #2 How?

NO WAY!!! My mom bought me a new car! Mya wrote in her journal. Finally! Her mom bought Mya a car! She'd been begging for a new car for months! At school the next day, two girls asked Mya to come sit with them at lunch. Their names were; Hope and Charlotte. They were very nice to Mya and protected Mya from the bullies. Two months went by, and a guy started talking to Mya, asking if she wanted to hang out, and even spied on her. Mya caught him writing a love letter to her and put it in her locker. When he left, she looked at it, read it, and it said; I love you, you're my hopes and dreams. You make my heart pound when I see you, and when we talk, I get so nervous. If I asked you, would you accept? Mya, however, had no clue who this was. It just said, From, secret admirer. Mya freaked out because she thought it was that guy, his name was Matthew. Matt, for short. They all had a good day, Mya still had that letter in her mind.

There was nothing she could do about that letter. She had no clue who it was from, why he liked her, and who would like a girl like her? She looked at Matt, and said, "Matt..." as she held up the letter in front of his face. "Is this from YOU?" His eyes widen, tears flowing down from his eyes. Still, he remains silent.

After a while, he answers, "If anyone found out, they would gawk me." Mya was right! It was from Matt! Mya didn't know why Matt was crying, though. She just stared at him until lunch was over. Matt hadn't eaten a bite after Mya asked him that. After school, Mya gawked at Matt cautiously. In spite of the fact he still looked like he was about to cry. Though, people were gawking at him rudely, Mya decided to comfort him and invite him to her house. "Matt, wanna come with me?" She said. Matt stared curiously at Mya, cheering up a bit, he blurts out, "s-sure!?!?"
