September 8, First day 8th grade.
Like everyday I woke up, got dressed and ate breakfast. Alan I mean Yeah-Yeah was sitting at the bus stop with the sandlot crew.
"Hey Alan. Can I sit with you guys on the bus" I said.
"Why dont you sit with Jess" He said.
" Shes not taking the bus" He looked at his friends and before sh could say anything Benny spoke up.
"She can sit with me" Then the bus came. We sat in the back. My friend Amelia offered to sit with me but I told her I could not. She looked at me weirdly. Me and Benny talked for a while and offered for me to sit at lunch. He even said Jess could come to.
TIME SKIP
Lunch time
"Hey guys. Um this is Jess" I said she looked nervous.
"Hi" Everyone said.
We were all having fun Benny was kind of being flirty with me though. Yeah-Yeah elbowed him a couple times reminding him that hes my brother. Then a boy with brown hair showed up.
"Hey losers" the boy said.
"What do you want Phillips" Ham yelled.
"Whoa Whoa butt breath. I wanted to meet your new friends here" He said looking at me and Jess.
"Oh um sorry Im Y/n McClennen and this is Jess Kelt" I say.
"Im Jordan Phillips Nice to meet you" He let his hand out to shake mine but as I was about to touch his hand Alan Screamed.
"Dont touch my sister!" He yelled.
"Whoa Sorry!" He said " I guess its time to go. Bye Jess. Bye y/n" He said my name in a weird way.
"Y/n! Dont ever get near that boy you here me!" Benny said "Hes bad news and you've got us, you dont need him" He wrapped his hand around me.
I were having fun til I looked over my shoulder. I saw Amelia Staring at us. She looked jealous. I forgot that she liked Benny. She liked him since the first grade.
After that lunch she looked at me differently. She would hit on Benny and Phillips. Phillips still liked me but Benny started having feelings for Amelia. She would sit with us at lunch. Then they started dating. All they would talk about is How Pretty or Handsome they are. Jess and the others were fine with it. But I hated it. At lunch all I did was read and listen to music. No one cared about me except for my brother. Jess and Amelia became Best friends and I became alone. So I started Hanging out Phillips. Thats when everyone cared.
