"I'm in position," Aizawa sat on the roof of a nearby building. He stared down at the target structure, staring daggers into it like it was a high-class villain itself. "What about you?"
"I'm here." From the other side, All might stood. "Are you sure you want me to wait?"
"If you came barreling in with us, the villains inside would run off at first sight. We want to get as much information about this gang as possible." Midnight responded on another line. "These boys will probably be on-edge with the small team we're sending in already. It's best we keep you back unless we really need you."
"Midnight's right."
There was a moment of silence, then Aizawa spoke again. "Alright, I'm going in." He slid down from his perch, slipping over to the roof of the target building and crawling into the air vent. With that, a few other heroes went in as well from different points.
Aizawa found himself coming into a small room. It was empty, save for a door and a trash can. The trash can looked like it was overflowing, with a black bag that was clearly overstuffed with something sharp.
"Nothing." He whispered into the radio.
Right as the words left his lips, however, something changed.
"Wh-what the-?!" One of the other heroes on the other line yelped. "What is that thing?!"
"Hello? What's going on?!" Before Aizawa could get a straight answer, he started hearing the sound of roaring and screaming. Not only from the radio itself; but from the floor below him. "Damn it!"
Aizawa turned, about to head out the door, only to see the trash can starting to shake. Aizawa, caught off-guard, almost didn't have enough time to react. The trash can's bag split open, and from it came a barrage of sharpened chicken bones. Aizawa dodged away, managing to get out of the attack with a few scratches.
"You heroes shouldn't have come here!" A deep, croaking voice called. Aizawa looked over to see a young-ish looking man, about early twenties. His long, black hair reached the centre of his back, and the lower half of his face was covered by a black mask painted with neon oni fangs. He was so pale, so skinny, with such thick eye bags, that he looked like a corpse.
The man threw his arm back. Suddenly, all the chicken bones spontaneously changed direction.
Aizawa immediately activated his quirk, and in no time, all of the bones dropped from the air. Just as he was about to attack, "Now!" Before Aizawa could think, something erupted from the floor. He felt his body slam into the ceiling as a blast of concentrated water shot from it. The bones flew up toward him, but right as they were about to make contact, the wall broke open.
"I am here!" Called All Might, who slammed his fist into the ground. The corpse-like man was thrown into the wall, his back making a loud thud sound as he did.
"Kubo!" A fish-like girl with water canons on her back sprang up from the hole in the floor and rushed to his side.
"Aizawa?" The sounds of fighting around him and the ringing in Aizawa's ears from the impact made it almost impossible for him to hear his own name. He shook his head and made a gesture for All Might to go ahead. As All Might turned back to the villains, the fish girl had already taken the corpse-like man, Kubo, away.
"All Might is here! We're fucked!" All Might heard from the lower floor. He stepped off and down into the newly-made hole. Aizawa followed, albeit a bit slow.
The leader of the villain group, Jack, hissed. "All Might? Of course he'd be here. C'mon, let's get the kid out here."
"I don't think that's a good idea, sir." One of the underlings quickly explained. "He's curled up in a ball in the corner of the room we left him in. The sudden attack caused him a lot of stress; if we try to move him out here, it might make it worse."
