I got to my bedroom and I head footsteps coming up the stairs going towards the bedroom next to mine which I believe is Luke's bedroom. But I heard three footsteps going towards that same bedroom. He probably shares a bedroom with his brothers. I couldn't help but overhear the conversation from Luke's room.
"(Y/N) is kind hot to be honest." I heard chad say. "Oh shut up Chad." Luke told him. "Chad isn't lying." Lewis said. "She is kind of cute I guess." Said Luke. "See I am never wrong." Chad laughed. "Look at the time we should get to bed." Chad said as I heard him open a pocket watch. "Oh yeah we should." Said Lewis. And then I saw the time. It was almost 2 A.M.! I really should go to sleep now.
I woke up feeling the most alive I have in a long time. I walked downstairs to the sound of sizzling bacon and the smell of fresh pancakes. I know that I don't have to eat to stay alive but this smelled like the best breakfast ever and I couldn't help myself.
"Good morning (Y/N) breakfast is almost ready." Marie told me. "It smells amazing!" I said. "Thank you dear." Marie said happily. "(Y/N) you look beautiful today." Luke told me. I saw him blushing. "Thank you Luke." I told him as I felt myself blushing too. "(Y/N) we exist too!" Chad exclaimed. "Hi guys." I laughed. "Ok breakfast is ready" Marie said. "Thank you so much." I said as I admired the food. "Your welcome." She replied.
"(Y/N) do you want to go on a walk after breakfast?" Luke asked. "Sure!" I exclaimed. I haven't been on a walk outside in forever. we quickly finished up breakfast. "Thank you Marie!" I exclaimed. "You are so welcome dear. be safe on your walk!" She exclaimed as I was walking out the door with Luke. "We will mom!" Luke replied.
"So (Y/N) what were you doing in the forest in the first place?" Luke asked. I had to think of a lie quickly so he wouldn't find out my secret. "My parents abandoned me when I was 5 an I have been living in the forest since then." I lied. "Oh. Wow. That's harsh. do you know why they abandoned you?" Luke asked. "I think it was because they didn't have enough money to take care of me. I don't really remember it because it was so long ago." I replied. "That sucks. Have you been living in the forest since then?" He asked. "Yes. I have. Just not this forest. I moved forests every once in a while." I told him. "Well good thing I found you then." He told me. "Ya. good thing." I said as it started to rain.
"Its raining." I announced. "Well good thing I love rain." He replied with the sweetest most innocent smile I have ever seen. "Good thing I love rain too." I laughed. The next second we were dancing and laughing and having so much fun.
Was I falling for him?
