Hey guys! So 'my baby girl' is out now! Go check it out! Here is the real chapter seventeen. Enjoy!

Kelli POV

I slammed the door behind me as we exited the car. Sarah's brothers could be in danger, if not, worse.
"NYPD open the door!" Olivia knocked on the door. No reply came, but I could hear the faint sound of a t.v in the background. Maybe they were just asleep or something.
Olivia banged again.
"If you do not open the door in 30 seconds, we will come in." Still nothing.
"Okay guys prepare to go in." Everyone assumed their positions. Olivia mouthed 'one, two ,three'.
We kicked the door in.
I wish I hadn't seen what I saw. There was blood everywhere. Mutilated body parts lying around. My god.
That wasn't all. He left a message, I'm guessing for us.
"Is that blood?" I looked at Olivia.
"It could be, it could be paint as well."
I couldn't even make out who was who. It was horrible.
"Kelli?"
I turned around.
"Mhmm?"
She pointed towards the message.
"I think we should get you protection."
That's when I actually read the message.

"You're next Kelli."

****
"No Liv, for the thousandth time I don't need protection, I'll be fine."
She sighed in frustration.
"Fine, but we're heading back to the precinct. No buts."
Why was she so worried? I can handle myself, I'm a big girl. I couldn't argue though, she is my sergeant. I walked back to the car, but ran to the bush instead. I puked my guts out. I felt someone rubbing my back.
"You okay?" I heard Nick's voice behind me. I nodded and stood up straight. He handed me a napkin to wipe my mouth with and a water bottle to rinse my mouth with.
"You look like hell. You need some rest." I nodded. All that stress from this case was killing me.
"Why don't I come and sleep over? Just to keep an eye on you."
"You know Nick, I can take care of myself. I don't need someone holding my hand."
He nodded his head, but I could tell he didn't agree with me.
"Okay, fine. Excuse me for wanting to look out for you."
"I don't need you to. I'm fine by myself."
He walked away from me, back to the crime scene.
I went back to the car, and got in the drivers seat. I was about to pull out when Fin hopped in.
"Mind if I join?"
I rolled my eyes.
"Yes I do mind. I don't need someone to look up on me every two seconds."
"Kelli Giddish, you're not a little girl, I understand. You're a big girl from Atlanta. That's great."
I think I detected some sarcasm there.
"Fin look, I'm fine. I'm not going to do something stupid." He looked at me as if to say 'mhm sure'.
"Seriously Kelli, when are you going to give up this tough act of yours and let someone help you?"
"As long as I live. I am not some child that needs to be watched. Go live your own life Fin, stop worrying about mine."
"Okay fine. You should know though that Olivia gave me specific orders not to let you go home by yourself."
He got out of the car and closed the door. I could feel him looking at me through the window. I put my keys in and drove off. To the precinct I go.

"I'm trying so hard not to get caught up now."
I have fearless by Taylor Swift softly playing in the background.
I'm trying not to get overwhelmed, but it's all so much. I'll never admit that to someone of course, but I needed some time alone.
"I don't know how it gets better than this."
"I do." I mutter.
I sighed as I turned off the car. I watched officers walking by. It's now or never.
I get out and walk to the precinct see a group of people all huddled around the board.
"Um hello? How can I help you?"
A man with broad shoulders and strong jaw turned towards me.
"Hello. I'm agent Hotcher. We're from the FBI."
I nodded, but why were they here? As if he read my mind, he spoke.
"Your sergeant? Olivia Benson? She called us." I nodded yet again.
"I'm detective Kelli Giddish."
One by one, each of the agents identified themselves.
"I'm Emily Prentiss." The lady with the dark hair said.
"Spencer Reid." The boy with curly hair answered, he seemed a bit young.
"Jennifer Jareau." The woman with the blonde hair said.
"Derek Morgan." The black man with hella good muscles said.
"David Rossi." The older man said.
"Penelope Garcia. Pleased to meet you!" The girl with the bouncy blonde hair and colorful outfit said. I stuck out my hand for a shake but she came in for a hug instead. I was caught by surprise.
"It's been brought to our attention that you have a serial killer on a spree."
I nodded.
"Why don't you take a seat? I'll call the rest of the squad. There's a lot to know,"
