I'll never have you...
That's the only thought that kept running through my head as I watched the beautiful brunette dance her way down the street. That brunette is my best friend Jessica, we've been friends since we were practically babies. She's truly one amazing girl. I smiled just thinking about her. Best friends, that's all we'll ever been. I sighed at my realization.
”Niall! Niall!” I heard a voice call out, snapping me out of my thoughts. I turned around to see my close guy friend Liam running towards me.
”What's up Payno?” I asked ”What the heck were you looking at? I called your name like ten times, and you just now decided to turn around” Liam said a bit annoyed this time. ”Sorry man, I was just watching Jessica.” Liam looked at me, with one eyebrow raised. ”You're such a creep man, watching her won't make a difference you need to man up and tell her how you really feel.” ”You know I can't do that, she has a boyfriend, she's crazy for that guy, and to her I'm just the guy best friend.” Liam grabbed his chest and begun to fake cry as he looked at me. ”I feel it for you Nialler” then he laughed. ”But seriously I really do, and as your best mate, I feel like I should help you feel better, so how do you feel about going to a party tonight at our usual club spot.” Liam questioned ”Yeah sounds okay to me, but I don't feel like driving tonight, so pick me up.”
”Alright Niall, well I'm on my way to the gym, so see ya later.” Liam said as he headed off to the gym which was just right down the road. ”Later Payno.
I noticed it was almost time for my class to start, so I decided to grab something to eat then go to the local music school, where I volunteered to teach the kids how to play the guitar, in my free time. I stopped at my usual Cafe to get a meal, when this girl came up to me. ”I'm sorry but I was standing over there when I couldn't help but notice how pretty your blue eyes are, it's like the perfect shade of ocean blue, and your dark hair root really brings them out.” ”Thank you I said shyly.”
”I'm sorry you must think I'm weird, but I just love observing people's eye colors.” She said brushing her floppy hair away from her face. ”No, not weird at all, just unique.” I said with a chuckle. She smiled a bit. ”I'm Allison by the way, but you can call me Ally.” ”Nice to meet you Ally, I'm Niall, but you can call me...Niall.” I replied with a failed attempt at making a joke, which surprisingly, she found funny. ”Well Ally I'd really love to stay and chat but I've got a class to go teach.” She looked a bit disappointed. ”Oh okay, maybe we could exchange numbers, so we can meet up some other time.” ”Sure ” I said, then we swapped phones and stored our numbers. ”Catch you soon” I said to Ally, as I walked out the restaurant.
As I made my way to the school, I thought about the girl I just met. She's short and tiny, looked like she loved reading a lot or maybe I was only assuming because she had a book in her hand. She had big Brown hazel eyes, that looked as if she was staring right into my soul, but not in a terrifying way, more like a cute, adorable way, as if she was searching for the good inside of me. She also had long thick blonde hair that kept flopping in her face and hiding her eyes. She seemed like I sweet, interesting girl. I was looking forward to seeing her again, but not like a date or anything, just a friendly hang out, because after all, my heart was already taken.
