Steve POV
It was a particularly rainy night by our little cottage on the bank of the winding river which meant we had to be careful of floods, Floods in this area weren't common but we still had to be weary of the possibility.

Me and Alex we're sitting in our living room by the fire keeping warm with the company of our pet cat aurora by our side that's when things went down hill.

Shivers went down my spine as I heard the crashes of thunder "oh shit", which also meant that lighting was near. Normally this would be fine but the population of tall trees by our cottage were little which meant that our house was one the tallest objects in the area and our house would go up in flames if it got struck by the lightening, so we were simply fucked.

"I have an idea" Alex exclaimed "why don't we hide in the cave not to far away from here, al least we wouldn't die then!"
She did have a point but we couldn't risk the fact that "CAVES ARE ON THE WORST PLACES TO BE AT NIGHT" I replied
"Why?"
"ARE U FUCKING STUPID DO U WANT US TO BE BLOWN UP BY A CREEPER ,ATTACKED BY ZOMBIES OR BETTER YET SHOT BY THE DEADLY ARROWS OF A SKELETON" I shouted
"WELL ITS AN OPTION AT LEAST" she shouted even louder at me
