My name is Sofia, I was six years old when I was diagnosed with bronchogenic carcinomas which is lung cancer, I was sitting on the bed in the doctors room and as soon as the doctor walked in my mum had grabbed my hand and squeezed it. At one point I thought it she was gonna crush all the bones in my hand. The doctor stood there with a confusing look on his face a then he looked up at me and my mum, she looked down at me and said " I'll love you no matter what." the doctor said "I'm so sorry to tell you but you have bronchogenic carcinomas" then my mum said "what is that?" The doctor then said "lung cancer, you don't have that long to live." My mother broke down in tears, I was only six so I didn't know what was really happening. The doctor looked at me and said why are you not upset, I replied with "I don't exactly know what it is, all I heard was that I don't have long to live" the doctor looked at me and then said "do you know what a bucket list is?" "yes" I say reaching into my bag that was lying on the floor, my mother got up and hugged me. After I pulled out my bucket list she had already let go of me so she could see what I had written down, I looked up at the doctor and he then asked me what was on my list. I look at the paper then my mother, I hop off the bed and hand the list to the doctor. He looks down at the paper and then up at me, he then says "the doctors and nurses of wire bank hospital are going to give you the money so you can do everything on this list" "really" I ask with the biggest smile on my face "yes" he replies with an even bigger smile on his face.
