I was going to stick out like a sore thumb, looking around the car park full of cars that probably cost more than my right hand

I watched as trust fund afters trust fund clones milled about out side the front doors or around their cars, boys goofing off or flaunting to the girls who where applying even more make up than they already had on or fluttering their eyelashes at anyone male that looked their way

it was evident I was never going to fit in with these people, I wasn't exactly here to make friends but I also wasn't looking forward to the awkward new girl vibe either

it was evident that these people have grown up with each other

every girl I looked at had a face full of make up on, they're uniforms pressed to perfection and the best of the best heels on they're fees, not a single strand of hair was out of place

me on the other hand, I couldn't care less that when I had put my window down on the way over here the wind had tussled my hair and my skirt had creased slightly because I hadn't flattened it before I sat down

"you'll only be the new kid for about a week, then they will forget about you" turning to Derek I smiled at his attempt to tamp down the slight nerves that bubbled in my stomach

"not when these kids have went to the same schools and they where all born with a silver spoon in their mouths...me on the other hand, we only had copper ones" shrugging I grabbed my bag thanked Derek before stepping out the car onto the pavement and looked up at the building I would call school

it was an old looking building that was set in a square, there was a set of stone steps that led up to the front entrance big pillars on either sides

taking a breath I slipped in my earphones pressing play on my phone before I squared my shoulders and lifted my head high before heading in

just because I felt nerves didn't mean I had to show I was, if you showed even the slightest amount of weakness to these people they would pounce on it

I could already feel the stares from everyone and the further I got the more heads turned my way, i'm sure if I didn't have my music blaring in my ears I would be able to hear them all whispering

wondering who the hell the new girl was

it only got worse when I stepped through the doors, I watched as one by one everyone stopped what they where doing to stare but I just kept forward refusing to look at them

this morning Dorothy gave me a map of the school and showed me where my locker was placed and where my first class would be

lucky for me my first class was right across from my locker so I made my way towards it, punching in the combination Dorothy had also given me I swung the door open and placed my bag inside

I grabbed a pen stuffing it into the inside of my blazer before I heard the faint ring of the bell and I snapped my earphones from my ears putting them into the opposite pocket I shut my locker and made my way to homeroom

time to face the music

"ah you must be my new student" nodding at Mr Hinsk I swept my eyes around the class room and made my way towards the back row finding a seat at the window I lowered into it hoping he wouldn't make me do the whole introduce yourself thing most teachers feel the need to make you do

"well hello there princessa" I stayed facing forward as a body fell into the seat next to me, watching in my peripheral as he turned to face me

"pretty sure I haven't seen you around before..and Im positive I wouldn't forget a face like yours" I could her the smirk in his voice before I even turned to look at him
