Explanation

Duncan's perspective:

"Okay so what do you want now." Courtney says, annoyed. "You can sit anywhere. I'll be back. I just need to take a quick shower." I reply.

"Seriously Duncan?! You brought me over just to waste my time?!" She yells. "Don't be surprised if I'm gone by the time you finish." She's a handful but, I still love her and I need to get her to forgive me.

"But remember hun, you don't have a ride home!" I tease. "Oh please, I can walk! I don't care as long as I can get away from you." I need to get her to stay. "Please just one chance!" "Fine!"

"I'll be right back." I say to her. Staring into her beautiful eyes. "Be quick! I don't have all day!"

Same old Courtney.

Finally! A hot shower!

Courtney's perspective:

I can admit. I do still have feelings for Duncan and I want to give him another chance, but I'm afraid he will just leave me again. Hopeless.

He's kind of taking a while so I guess I'll just bang on the washroom door until he gets out. Where is it anyways?

I walk through the hall.

Weird, I didn't expect for there to be a bunch of pictures of me and him still hung up.

I guess he still has feelings for me.

Suddenly, I hear a door open and it's the one behind me.

"Miss me already Princess??" I turn around and see Duncan leaning on the door frame. "Stop being so self obsessed Duncan. I'm only here to hear your explanation." I can feel my cheeks turning red.
I'm glad that he has at least a towel covering down there.

"You know you love me." "Oh shut up Duncan!"
"Okay okay I'll stop fooling around." He chuckles. "Alright now go back to the living room and I'll be right back." "Okay." I huff.

Duncan walks into the room.

"Finally! I've been waiting forever." I say, standing up to stretch.

Duncan's perspective:

"Alright Duncan. Explain why I should let you back into my life after you kissed Gwen without me knowing."

"I didn't know what to do because I got tired of your bossiness. I really don't know what I was thinking but I actually like the way you boss me around." I explain, looking down so I couldn't see her facial expression. I'm afraid that Courtney won't forgive me. "So, I kissed Gwen. A part of my gut told me not to do it. But I didn't listen. I'm really sorry Court."

"Look, I still like you but if you don't like me anymore, I at least want to be friends."

I look up. Scared that she'll make fun of me. It's really cheesy. But I hope she can forgive me. "Look- I don't blame you if you don't forgive me."
