Izuku scooted back against the bed with a frightened squeak at the sight he beheld in the doorway. He squeezed his eyes shut, shaking again. What was in store for him anyway?
A strange voice addressed him and he held his breath, praying he wasn't about to die. "I brought you food, I won't hurt you."
The voice chuckled. "It's my quirk, open your eyes," At those words, Izuku's eyes shot open excitedly. He scanned the figure before him, intrigued, before reaching out to touch him.
Izuku's fingers brushed right through the man, however, and he let out a small gasp, his hands itching for his notebook. He looked up at the man to see purplish black mist floating above the man like hair, the rest of his body made of that same mist.
"What exactly is your quirk? It could be some sort of poltergeist type quirk, you could have the same abilities as a ghost, or maybe you can phase through solid objects!! But no, it looks like there's some semblance of gear or a metal chest piece maybe? Under your mist I mean... can I call it mist? Anyway that would mean you can't phase through solid objects, so... some kind of time traveling quirk? OH. DO YOU HAVE A TELEPORTING QUIRK!?!?!" Izuku looks up at the confused man, excited at his possible discovery.
The mist man sets down a tray on the bed Izuku was sleeping on, and nods. "Yes in fact, I do. How did you figure that out so fast?"
"I've always been good at that I guess..." Izuku explained, slowly coming down from his high. "Analysis is just something that I do. I don't have a quirk, so I just kinda live vicariously through others..." Izuku let out a broken chuckle.
The man nodded. "What's your name?"
Izuku hesitated. "Do you work with the scary purple man?"
The man hesitated, thinking. "I... believe so yes, if you're referring to Dabi. He's the one with the scars."
Izuku's eyes widened and he shook his head. "Then no, I won't tell you my name."
"What if I tell you mine?" The man asked.
Izuku paused, debating, before reluctantly nodding. "Ok... if you tell me your name, I'll tell you mine."
The man chuckled before stating simply, "Kurogiri."
The small greenette opened and closed his mouth to reply, but when he steeled his courage to actually say something, his name wasn't what popped out of his mouth. "Are... are you a villain?"
The man, Kurogiri, fell silent, contemplating his answers. "I don't believe we're villains, we're more a messed up and disjointed family than anything. But yes, someone such as yourself might see us as such. In your eyes, yes. I am a villain."
Izuku froze. Kurogiri had said we. That could only mean...
"Where am I?" He stared up at Kurogiri, an uncompromising look on his face.
"I am not in a place to divulge that information openly."
"Fine."
"But I can tell you that you're lucky to be alive. The boss was not happy to see that Dabi brought you back, we don't usually take hostages."
Izuku fell silent. What was going to happen to him? Who were these people? Where was he??
When he looked back up, Kurogiri had disappeared, and his food had gone cold.

Katsuki sat on his bed, staring at the wall. His mom was still with Inko, and his dad was at work, so he was home alone.
