MOLLIE HAD BEEN LET DOWN AGAIN. She'd woken up that morning with a banging headache and no one in her bed besides her. Sighing loudly out of pure frustration, Mollie hadn't even bothered to stay in bed, instead rolled out and checked her phone for any sign of Luke, no messages and then began to explore her apartment for any traces of him in the apartment, there were none.
If it had been anyone else, Mollie would've dropped them a text to make sure they'd gotten home safe but frankly, in this moment she couldn't care less about Luke. He'd betrayed her once again and she felt like an idiot yet again. Instead, she blocked his number, which she thought she'd done the last time, but she was making sure he'd stay blocked now.
Typically, she was conflicted on how she felt about it all. One one hand, she was actually really hurt about it all, feeling let down and sick with guilt and regret that she'd get herself into this mess in the first place. Mollie just wanted someone — not necessarily Luke — to care about her and want to love and spend time with her and that just didn't seem to happen. So she would snatch up the slightest bit of affection she could receive, affection that usually came from Luke, however fake it was. Meaning every time Luke would leave her the next morning, a bit of the hope that Mollie had for finding this feeling of love and warmth died away within her. It was at times like that where she truly felt unlovable.
On the other hand though, she couldn't care less, barely feeling a thing in fact. She was so used to this happening to her that she couldn't even be angry at him, only herself for being naive again. At this point, Mollie felt nothing towards Luke. The love she once had for him was completely and utterly gone and she knew that everything that happens between them had to stop for her own good.
This time was different to all of the others though because Mollie was determined that it was the last time this time. She'd had enough of Luke and she was going to make more of an effort to keep him out of her life. As much as every other time she'd said the same, she was really adamant this time and she was determined that there was no way that he was going to knock her confidence again.
This change of attitude came with another as rather than throwing herself straight back into bed and moping in a hungover sadness, Mollie got dressed into some clothes that made her feel good and got on with her day. Starting off by taking some medicine to try and soothe the feeling that her hangover had left her then leaving her bedroom and making her way to the kitchen to make herself some cookies to snack on.
With the cookies straight from the oven on a plate back with her in her bedroom, Mollie sat down in her chair and took a bite out of one, smiling to herself as she could already feel her spirits beginning the lift a little bit. After this, Mollie decided that she'd stream for a while, it usually being a golf way to take her mind off of things, which was exactly what she needed. Going to her Twitter, she made the announcement that she was streaming before opening up twitch on her computer and starting her stream.
