Why were the flowers so pretty? They kept blooming non-stop from my neck, but all I could do was watch them fall slowly down, down, down, beneath me. My neck and arms were bruised and battered from the 'tumble' I took. If you could call it a tumble. It was more of a beating. Atleast, that's what it felt like. Once again, slowly.. slowly.. becoming darker and darker around me and watching them shyly fall. Lights out.

---FLASH BACK---

"Hey! Toshinori!" You called out.

The lanky blonde turned to face you, curiously inspecting your actions. He raised a gentle smile and walked towards you.

"Any plans for the weekend?" You asked as he came closer.

He shook his head as his smile faltered. The snow gently falling around us made him even more mesmerizing. I couldn't help, but look into the closest symbol of his eyes.

"Me either." You said, sighing softly.

Toshinori looked around at the snow, unable to make eye contact as usual. You looked around as well. Not knowing how to break the unbearable silence. You thought that since he was retired now, and that everyone knew about his seperate form, he would have more free time. To an extent. You both taught at UA. That's how you met, originally. Two co-workers, one was the Symbol of peace and the other was just a normal (f/s) that also taught high schoolers about the real hero world.

No doubt you thought All Might was cool. Almost everyone did. But after that incident with AFO, he had to fully retire. Which left Number Two hero Endeavor in his place. You really felt that it was extremely difficult on him so you often scolded him for over working. Toshinori just agreed and tried his best to slow down. To him, he never fully tried.

Lately, you wanted him to look at you more often. Even the slightest walk in the hallways was enough to make your heart flutter. Especially the times he'd acknowledge your presence and say a quick hello or afternoon. For a second you thought he wasn't there because he was so quiet near you.

"Well, I'd better be going." His voice snapped you back to reality as you looked at him, not wanting to leave. The smallest encounters made you live.

Instead of asking for the weekend, you nodded and waved, watching as he walked past the dorms and from UA. You turned and began your own route home, except you couldn't stop this burning sensation inside. It hurt like bricks to face, but all over your body. When you got home, you took a few pain relief pills and unpacked. The pain didn't stop. I can't stop thinking about his smile, you thought. For some reason you were coughing up quick blood. A few days you'd have a coughing fit and had to stay home. The other days you struggled through it thinking you had to be there for them. You were a pro-hero after all. Blood wasn't going to stop you.

"H/N?" Midnight tapped your shoulder, startling you slightly from being hunched closer to the computer.

"Yes?" You turned to Midnight.

"Want to have lunch with us?" Midnight turned to Present Mic and Eraserhead. Present mic was giving two thumbs up while Eraserhead stood beside. You looked at the clock then back to them and nodded.

"Sure!" You said. The heavy feeling came back quickly and you coughed, wiping a bit of blood from your mouth.

"Look who's All Might now!" Present Mic joked loudly then leaned closer against the counter.

"For real though, you've been coughing up blood like him. Did you mess yourself up too?!" He tried to whisper, pointing his finger near your face. His whispering needed a lot of work.

You shook your head. You, yourself didn't fully know why you were coughing so much. It just happened more often. Present Mic leaned back, crossing his arms. This time he spoke more loudly.

"We won't let that happen. You better take care of yourself, Okay?!"

You nodded and apologized.

"We're leaving right now." Midnight spoke.

" For lunch, we aren't sure where we'll go, but it has to be near the school. Plus we have to be careful of citizens. They'll want to take photos." Eraserhead said, but it felt more like a mutter.

They all agreed and Midnight added a few alleyways they could slip through. It was risky for a few criminals, but she knew the way well. While your mind wandered to where Toshinori could be. He was always with his student, Midoriya. You knew that kid meant a lot to him.
