A Run In The Park

When worlds collide

    I was out on a run with nothing going on in my head, when I ran through the park and saw this really cute boy reading a book under the shadow of an oak tree. He was about 5´7 with a lean build and the most adorable hair I have ever seen. He had cute freckles all over his face and an off-white scarf wrapped around his neck. I wanted to talk to him but I didn't want to disturb him when he looked so peaceful and calm, he was sitting under the tree looking all cute and angelic.
'    I must have stopped and looked at him for a little bit longer then I thought, because he glanced up quickly before he looked back down and slightly covered him face with his book. It wasn't very noticeable, if you weren't literally staring at him you probably wouldn't have seen it. It was honestly adorable. I looked back at him and saw that his face was a little tinted with pink, highlighted on his cheeks and the tips of his ears. I decided it was best to run further away then photograph him right now, hopefully later on I can get more information on him once I'm back home or in my office. I jogged back home after a last glance at this unknown boy.
    After I got home I showered and decided to cook something for myself, before I got food for Cooper my baby boy a.k.a my rabbit. I decided I wanted to make a medium well steak with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, before having a very unhealthy snack. I cooked while listening to JP Saxe music with a mix of Blackpink. I ate my food and then played with Cooper before I passed out on the floor of my living room.
    The next day I woke up with the worst possible back pain and wanted to jump out of my window. I walked downstairs and made breakfast and gave Cooper some lettuce and carrots for his breakfast. After I was done eating and getting ready for work at my family's restaurant I walked downstairs, made sure Cooper was set for the day and left. I was riding my motorcycle when I passed the park from yesterday and thought of that boy I saw. Out of pure unintentional thought I pulled over and walked through the park on the same route I took yesterday but sadly didn't see him. I sadly walked back to my motorcycle and went to the restaurant and got everything set up for the day and opened up ready for the breakfast rush.
    After about 10:30 a.m. I heard the door open and all the workers were cleaning or getting trained in by the manager on the clock so I decided to actually help up at the counter for once since I became the owner after my parents gave me the restaurant. So I walked up to the counter while tying my apron, I greeted them while not looking up and getting what I needed set up and ready. After I did I looked up and saw the same boy from yesterday, I got a little flustered and asked him what he would like and he ordered the cutest drink that we have. It's called Rainbow Light, its just a bunch of different fruit flavors mixed together and it makes a rainbow. I put in his order and said we will have it right out for him. I watched where he went to sit and made his drink saying that I know the person, after I finished his drink I put a donut on a rainbow plate and put some extra frosting on it and brought it out to him. I gave him his order and he looked kind of confused why he got the donut so I told him. “ I own this restaurant and thought that since you´re cute you get a donut that is almost as cute as you for free.¨ after saying that I winked at him and walked away after watching him get all flustered.
    After about 20 minutes he got up and left saying thank you and walking out, I walked over to the table he was at and found a napkin with a note. ¨ Thank you for the free donut it was good i really appreciate it a lot I'll definitely come back again.¨ I looked at it and saw that it had no name and that the Korean was a little sloppy which means he hasn't been here for long to fully perfect the writing of it. He spoke it very well though so he is at least fluent which is good to know. I looked at the note again and saw that it had a heart on the bottom, I smiled and walked back to my office while getting weird looks from my employees. They probably never see me smile so I get it.
    At the end of the day I made sure everything was in line and that nothing was left behind and closed everything up for the night. I walked out back and put my helmet on and got on my motorcycle. On my way home I couldn't stop thinking about that boy, next time I see him I'll have to get a photo so I can find information on him and be able to know more about the one I want to be mine.
    I got home and took Cooper out after I showered. I didn't eat but I'm not hungry. I cuddled with Coop for a while then got ready for bed. After I read for a while I got some water and decided to find out what my next mission is for my other job, of being an assassin. I looked at my files and found one on a guy that keeps harassing younger men and I hate people like that. I got everything I needed for that and decided it can wait till the morning and went directly to my bed to go to sleep.
    The next day i woke up and noticed that I woke up about 3 hours later then I should have and I ran around trying to get ready and make Cooper food at the same time, It didn't work out that well and I ended up falling down the stairs and hitting my knee and back really hard and had a small cut on my lip and my nose really hurt a lot. I dealt with it and decided Im just gonna walk today I own the place I don't really have to be on time a all I meanI think they can manage a couple hours without me there and watching over them.
             I walked down the road when I saw someone bent over trying to tie their shoe but dropped a blanket and book on the ground I walked closer and saw it was him it was that guy. I walked up to him and picked his stuff up and handed it to him. I looked into his eyes and gave a slight head nod and walked away. Wait I realized I should introduce myself. I turned around and said, "I'm Lee Dong-Jun." I turned back around and walked away towards my restaurant. I was blushing like mad and my stomach felt like it had butterflies in it. Whats this feeling.
             After another 15 minutes I walked up to the restaurant and went straight to my office after being greeted by my employees. I decided to call my brother for the first time in a month. We talked for a while about nothing important just how we were doing and how his family was. After a while I went out and saw the cute guy with his cute drink and the same donut from yesterday. I walked up to him and sat down. I didn't say hi or anything the only thing I said was "Did they give this to you for free?" He responded with "No but it's alright I don't mind really." After he said that I got up went to my wallet and pulled out the 4 dollars for the donut and brought it back sat down and gave it to him. "Every time you come in here ask for Dong-Jun and I will come and give you your order no one else will make it right. Does the drink taste good?" I probably sound so creepy but what can I say. " It does taste a little off but it isn't bad I've had worse drinks since the time I've been in Korea." As I thought they didn't put the right ingredients in it. "Always ask for me when you come here or ask for Sam he is the only other one who knows how to make that drink the right way without making it bitter or unsweet." Sam has been working with me for a good 5 years now and he is my best friend of all time. We have known each other for about 15 years and have been friends since. "Okay I will thank you sir." Wait did he just….no that is not acceptable he knows my name he will use it. "No need to call me sir you know my name so use it I don't mind. Also if you hear someone call me Mr.Lee that's my work name but you don't need to use that." I hate when cute people that know my name call me sir...wait he is the first cute person to know my name. Anyway who cares.
