Minutes later, you were back in the passenger seat to your dad's car. You could tell that your dad was extremely surprised and just didn't now what to say about your sudden change in scent, and neither did you. At times like these, you much preferred when your dad didn't question anything.

"D-Did you meet your mate?" Looks like he decided to speak this time. You gulped and nodded your head. "Were they one of the members or one of the fans?"

"H-He's one of the members." More awkward silence floated around the both of you. You couldn't figure out why he was acting so awkward, however—after all, all your parents talked about was you obtaining a mate.

"You let him give you a partial mark?"

"Yes, Daddy. The humans communicate with things called 'phones' that we don't have, so I told him to give me a partial mark." The rest of the ride remained awkward. You started to think that maybe your dad actually didn't want you to get a mate since he was acting so off about it.

When the car finally passed back through pack grounds, your father finally decided to speak up again. "I'm so happy for you, Sweetheart," he whispered. Surprised by the sudden voice, you slightly turned your head to the side and saw tears dammed up in your father's eyes, but not yet bursting through. You immediately felt yourself soften up. "Of course I'm happy for you, Y/N. But even thought I always joke around with your mother and Woomin's parents about your dependency on us, I never thought that I'd—" Your father closed his mouth for a moment, trying to recollect his words. "I never thought that I'd feel this way after knowing that you'll be leaving us." He turned his head and met your gaze. "That is what you're planning on doing, is it not? You're going to move to Seoul to be with that boy." It was. In fact, the entire car ride back you were trying to figure out what your next plan of action was. You were sure Yoongi would help you if you asked.

"Yes . . ." you whispered after a few short moments. Your dad pulled into your driveway, where you knew your mom, Woomin, and Woomin's parents were waiting.

"We'll finish this conversation with your mother," he mumbled while unbuckling his seatbelt, you following his lead. You both climbed out of the car and made the short trek to the front door before walking inside.

"My baby!" your mom exclaimed once she saw you, immediately bomb-rushing you with hugs and kisses, causing your face to scrunch up.

"Mama," you whined while attempting to escape her arms, which was practically impossible. She was a body builder back in her time, and she was still insanely strong to this day.

"mAmA," Woomin mocked from somewhere behind your mother. You reached your arm out and stuck up your middle finger.

"Wait a damn minute," Woomin's mom suddenly muttered, causing you to freeze. "Is that a partial mark on your neck?!"

"HUH?!" your mom shrieked while releasing the death grip she on you. "When the fuck did you get that?!"

"I met my mate at the fan meet, Mama," you said quietly while looking down shyly.

"HOLY SHIT!" Woomin's dad screeched while throwing his hands into the air. "This calls for celebration!" Both sets of parents suddenly all made direct eye contact with each other.

   "THE CURSE HAS BEEN BROKEN!"

You watched with a blank face as the four adults paraded and danced around the room. Your dad was acting completely different than he was in the car, unsurprisingly. Your mom brought out the wild and crazy side of him.
