Days have passed like years for the boys, and it seemed like their dear friend had sticked to his words. They never heard anything from him.

Not even a greeting, or an update, completely gone. He was like a ghost that remained in their memories, they have tried asking their coach if there were any chance that m/n have mentioned that he will be back but sadly, their coach could only shook his head.

Every day felt like a chore for everybody, every time they enter the gym they would simply hope m/n would be there waiting for them to start practicing, they missed his voice, his caring personality despite the rough edges. They missed him.

Everybody blamed themselves for the sudden disappearance of m/n. He didn't even shown up in school, even his own best friend didn't know where he had headed; only a letter was left behind.

Who knew a simple letter could make a whole bunch of rowdy boys cry? The uncertainty of the boy on ever coming back is like knives in their chest being repeatedly inserted in a hasty manner.

Even so, they held dearly to their chests the lessons m/m taught them. They promised to follow all the things they have been taught by him.

Every day, after school they would gather as a whole in his house and would reminisce their time with him, every laughing moments to their sad moments.

Their laughs turns into whimpers and sniffles as they couldn't contain the feeling of not being able to be with someone they love.

Every one of them counted the days of the month, hoping that they would wake up from this nightmare. Until now, the last day of the month.

'He'll come back now, right?'

Everyone thought as soon as they opened their eyes, Their heart felt like they just finished a marathon, their eyes expectantly seeing the familiar shade of e/c.

"He should be back now, because next month, tomorrow is the training camp..."

Atsumu mumbled to himself, desperately convincing himself that he'll come back and everything will turn back to normal. Everything will turn back to normal, right?
