Standing at the balcony with his hands resting on the railing, there he stood, Xiao, staring at the moon when suddenly his thoughts were interrupted by one of his close friends, Aether.
"is something bothering you?" Aether asked looking worried about his friend as he had been acting like that alot lately.
"It's nothing.. the moon happened to remind me of her." Xiao turned to face Aether and replied in a quiet tone with a small, sad smile on his face.
"You know, I haven't been your friend for a long time like Venti and the others but ever since I met you, I noticed about this 'she' and 'her' y'all talk about and how your face drops everytime she's mentioned." Aether said while walking then standing beside him.
After a small pause, Aether spoke up again; "It's just that.. even though we've been friends for over a year now, I still feel that I haven't gained your trust yet and kinda left out too.. I-it's not like I'm forcing you or som-"
His words were cut off by Xiao; "It's alright. You would've known sooner or later."
He then looked back to the moon and spoke again; "So where to begin, well there was this girl named Yueliang. Just like her name, she was as special as the moon but then one day she suddenly disappeared..."
