Horikita x Ayanokouji

Chapter 2- The Beginning

Ring* Ring* Ring*

I woke up from the sound of my alarm and I saw that it was still 5 am.

I started to started to do a "light" workout so I can maintain the form of my body. I went to the park and ran a couple of laps. Once I finished running the laps around the park, I did a few more exercises, for example push-ups, planks, crunches and because I was at the park I held onto a tree branch and did a few pull-ups. After I finished I rested a bit in the shade of the trees.

When I reached my dorm I decided to cook a European breakfast since it is easy to make and I did not want to take too much time with cooking becuase it was already 6:20 am. After I finished eating I took a shower.

"So this will be my daily routine for the next three years, huh" Kiyotaka thought.

I checked my watch and it was still 7am, so I just watched TV to kill some time. When the time reached 7:20 am I turned off the TV, locked my doors and went to school.

After I got to the classroom most of my classmates ignored me or didn't even notice I was there, only Hirata greeted me.

Hirata: Good morning Ayanokouji-kun

Ayanokouji: Good morning Hirata

I sat down in my chair and just stared out of the window.

"If the clouds could feel something, they would definitely feel free" Kiyotaka thought to himself.

After some time passed I heard someone sitting down next to me.

Horikita: Good Morning Ayanokouji-kun

I just pretented that I did not hear her and kept staring out of the window.

Horikita: Ayanokouji-kun I know you hear me so don't ignore me.

I kept ignoring her so I can see how she would react. She will probably get angry. Even though it is really unlikely but maybe I misjudged her and she won't get angry and will get upset.

Horikita: So you decided to ignore me

Horikita said with an slightly irritated tone. After that I heard some rustling sounds and then I suddenly felt an stinging pain at my arm. I looked to my right and saw Horikita holding a compass in her hand.

Horikita : I know you heard me, idiot

Ayanokouji : Huh? Idiot?

Horikita : Yeah you're a big idiot

Before I could say something I was interrupted by the sound of the bell and Chabashira-sensei came in.

When lunchtime began I saw most of my classmates either taking out their bentos and talking with their newly made friends or they went to the cafeteria together. Since I didn't make a bento I should go to the cafeteria and get something to eat. When I stood up I was immediately stopped from going by Horikita.

Horikita : Ayanokouji-kun where are you going?

Ayanokouji : To the cafeteria, why are you asking?

After I asked this question a tint of pink appeared on Horikitas cheeks I have to admit it looks cute.

Ayanokouji: Ehm, is something?

Horikita: I just wanted to ask you if you would like to spend the lunchtime together with me?

Most of the persons who stayed in the class were listening to our conversation. The girls whispered things like "they are so cute" while the many boys were glaring at me for no reason... I think.

Ayanokouji : Huh?

Horikita : The food in the cafeteria is not healthy so you shouldn't eat there.

Ayanokouji: I know that but I didn't make my own food or bento

Horikita : Really, I coincidentally made two bento sets so I could share one with you

The glares of the boys in the class intensified and they began to insult me or wish that I could die right on the spot. But why, are they perhaps jealous?

"I would never say no to free food" Kiyotaka thought

Ayanokouji : Yeah sure

I sat back in my chair and Horikita gave me the bento with slices of tuna, sausage, sandwiches, and slices of meat.

Ayanokouji/Horikita : Itadakimasu

"Did Horikita cook this, it tastes amazing" Kiyotaka thought

Ayanokouji : Horikita did you cook this?

Horikita : Yeah, why?

Ayanokouji : It tastes really good

The tint of pink on Horikitas face came back and she looked away for a moment she took a deep breath and faced me with a smirk.

Horikita: Of course, it tastes good it was made by me after all.

Ayanokouji: Then thank you again.

Horikita : No problem

After this little conversation we just ate in silence. The silence wasn't really unpleasant but it was still kinda awkward.

"Maybe I should break the silence and talk to her" Kiyotaka thought

Ayanokouji : Horikita

Horikita : What?

Ayanokouji : Can you make another lunch for me tomorrow?

After school I went back to my dorm to change. I locked my door and went to my destination.

Ayanokouji : Horikita, Why are we here again?

Horikita : Really, Ayanokouji-kun you forgot it already?

Flashback

Kiyotaka : Horikita

Horikita : What?

Kiyotaka : Can you make another lunch for me tomorrow?

Horikita : Hmmm, I don't really mind.

The glares of the boys from before came back tenfold and now they didn't even try to hide their jealousy anymore.

Ike : That bastard I wish he dies.

Yamauchi : Why does Horikita-chan joins that gloomy guy for lunch.

"Now I am sure, they are really jealous but they must be really desperate if they are so angered just because I interact with a beautiful girl, like Horikita" Kiyotaka thought.

Kiyotaka : Really?

Horikita : Yes

Ayanokouji : Are you sure?

Horikita : Yes

Horikita : But you would have to accompany me and pay for the ingredients Ayanokouji-kun.

Ayanokouji : Yeah sure

Horikita looks away but the pink tint of her face is still there.

Present

Horikita : Ayanokouji-kun can you get the bacon and tuna over there.

Horikita said it with an slightly irritated voice

Ayanokouji : Hai

"Those are a lot of ingredients and they will cost many points but if it means I can taste Horikitas cooking again I will gladly pay" Kiyotaka thought

We went to the cashier and payed for the stuff and I can sense a lot of people staring at us. I look at Horikita's reaction and it seems like either she didn't notice them or she just ignores them.

We went back to our dorms and bid our farewells.

When I reached my dorm I just started cooking my dinner and since it was too early to sleep I just used my phone and killed some time.
