Summer Love (An Austin Mahone Love Story)

Chapter 1

I set my red duffle bag on the cot, then laid back on the cot in exhaustion due to a long car ride. 

"Hey roommate!" A boy walked in and grabbed a white shirt out of his bag and started to change out of the blue muddy one he previously had on. He had short brown hair, green-hazel eyes, was about 5'11", and had on red sneakers with a pair of black basketball shorts. He was hot, and his arms were muscular, but he wasn't buff, just perfect. As he took off his shirt I could see a 6 pack starting to form. "The name's Austin. This summer will be great. Ever been here before?"

"I'm Stephanie, and no I haven't, but I'm sure it will be loads of fun." I stood up off the cot and grabbed my bag to pull it over. I unzipped it to start unpacking.

"Well Stephanie, would you like to come play basketball with me and a couple friends?" He put his shirt on and grabbed a Chicago Bull's hat out of his bag.

"I'll pass. I just got here and wanted to unpack before the camp meeting tonight." I really wanted to play with him, but it's true I needed to unpack.

"I'll see you around then." The squeaky screen door slammed shut behind him as he trotted down the stairs. I started to put my clothes into the old, light brown dresser opposite my cot.

My parents sent me to this camp, Camp Getaway, for the summer to get a break from everything. I was getting really stressed out and never got off my phone. At first, I didn't like the idea but when I thought about it, I do need a break. It's a 10 week camp for teens in high school. It didn't have a real purpose besides, well, to get away, hence the name of the camp. It's a small camp, 16 campers and 3 counselors. I heard there were three girls and the others shared a cabin, so I got one with a guy. I thought it'd be some creep, but thankfully he looked really nice.

I finished putting my clothes away and headed out the door. It was hot so I quickly found some shade under a tree. Each of the 8 cabins had its own small path leading to it in the woods. I walked down our path which led to a bigger main path that all of the smaller ones branched off of. Towards the end of the main path was the counselors' cabin and the mess hall. The basketball courts, rock climbing area, and pool were behind those. I could see other people sitting on benches and playing soccer in a few clearings as I walked towards the courts. I saw Austin playing a two on two game with 3 other guys who looked our age. Austin was sweating and already had his shirt off and laying on the bleachers. Even covered in sweat he looked sexy. I had just gotten to the bench when Austin drained a three pointer to end the game.

"Hey Stephanie!" Austin said while picking his shirt up and wiping the sweat off his face. He flashed a smile at me before continuing, "Done packing?"

"Yeah, I was going to see about joining you but you guys are done already."

"Well we were about to head to the pool if you wanted to join us." The other three guys came over and got their drinks.

"Good game Austin." One of the guys patted Austin on the back. He was wearing a red shirt with khaki shorts and blue sneakers. He appeared to be the oldest and had brown hair that looked a little like Justin Bieber's hair but darker. He took a swig of water then continued on his conversation with another one of the guys.

"Actually me and Alex were going to head out to do rock-climbing." The taller of the three said while pointing to the one who had just talked to Austin, Alex.

"What about you Robert?" Austin turned to the last of the three. He was wearing khaki shorts as well with a blue shirt. He had very short dark brown hair and blue sneakers on.

"I was going to head with Zach and Alex." He said while passing the ball back to Zach. Austin had a smile on his face and took a drink of water.

"Would you like to go swimming or rock climbing? I'll go to whichever you choose." Austin asked me before Alex threw the ball back to him.

"I'd rather go swimming, it's really hot and rock climbing takes a lot of energy." Austin looked pleased with my decision.

"We'll see you three tonight at the campfire then." He said to the other guys before turning to me and stretching his hand out. I took his hand and we walked back across the camp to our cabin.
