The splutter and noise of the breakfast and the waking- time of the orphanage's children rang through the house as the clock hit seven a.m.

"Settle down kids!" called Mrs. Mary in annoyance. Ms. Mary laughed, standing up and signaling for her mother to sit down.

"Kids, come on!" The twenty children in the room settled into silence within moments, all noise dying down. All but the chirping of the birds outside. "Mum," she smiled, sitting.

"First of all, good morning," Mrs. Mary smiled warmly. "I am happy to see all of you so excited for another school year, some of you new schools, some stays in the same old. However," Mrs. Mary glanced at Nirvana. "Unlike the usual, this year, our dear blonde is not going to go to the same school as you all are, in fact, she won't be back for quite a while."

"We know," a black haired boy said. "We all do."

"Trevor," Ms. Mary warned and her mother continued.

"I know you know," Mrs. Mary stated, "but I just wanted to take this meal and take the time to wish you luck. We'll miss you."

Nirvana nodded, smiling bashfully. "Thank you," she said as loudly as her embarrassed throat would let her. Trevor sighed from next to her, clamping his hand on her back.

"Have fun chicka."

"Trevor!"  Mrs. Mary called,

"What?" he asked, his voice raising, "it's a friendly smack!"

"Mum, please," Ms. Mary said softly, "they do it all the time. Relax, it's not a violent action."

Mrs. Mary glared at the boy slightly but dropped it. "Well, anyway. Walter is gonna give you a ride," she told Nirvana, "and the two of us will walk the rest of you to your schools," she smiled.

The children nodded, and Trevor smirked at Nirvana.

Walter was Mrs. Mary's son who lived few houses away and there was not a girl in the orphanage that didn't swoon over him ever since Trevor could remember himself, and he was there for the longest time.

Nirvana was the only exception, and Trevor was certain that it was only because she knew that by letting Walter know that she was head over heels for him wouldn't work.

"Well, then, get on with the breakfast and get ready!" Mrs. Mary called, "I have to sign those stupid papers the mayor sent me..." she grumbled, walking to her office.

Noise once again took over the table and slowly everyone flooded out of the room, getting ready to their first day of school.

Nirvana was brushing through her hair for the fifth time that morning when Ms. Mary called her name.

"Yes?" Nirvana asked, walking down the stairs.

"Walter's here," Ms. Mary grinned, gesturing at her brother who nodded with a smile.

"Hey Nirvana," he greeted.

"Go get your stuff," Ms. Mary instructed, "make sure not to forget anything! The cat Trevor got you is in the garden!"

"Thanks!" Nirvana called back, rushing upstairs.

"Walter's here?" Amanda shrieked, "I'm gonna say hey! How do I look?"

Nirvana held her thumb up and three girls rushed out. She smiled, amused at their antics and took her bags. She looked around her bed, Nirvana left only one statue there and when she was looking at it at that moment she felt bad. He would feel alone. She quickly took out a statue and wrapped its arms around the statue in her bedside's torso.
