Alice

"You wanted to speak to me?" I asked making my voice calm and collected. As if I wasn't talking to my ex and his family who bring me such pain to think about.

Alice was the first to move. She hugged me. I stiffened in her grasp, "oh I'm so happy your ok!" She dry sobbed into my shoulder. So she did think I was dead. But why is she so relived? I mean sure she doesn't have to feel guilty anymore but that doesn't mean people cry into peoples shoulders about it. I unstiffened myself slowly and patted her in the back awkwardly.

She reluctantly let go of me. Her eyes never left my face. Carlisle talked after that, "Bella" he said, concern ran thick in his voice.

"Yes?"

"Are you alright?" He asked he seemed reluctant to move or talk too fast. He didn't want to set me off? I made sure to look more at ease and comforted after that.

I opened my mouth then closed it again. Was I? No, "yes" I replied nodding slowly, "may I ask why you guys are here?" I eyed Edward while I said this, his face didn't change at all, he was just as beautiful as before. His eyes never left me either.

I moved my sheild away from me. His eyes widened and his mouth opened slightly making a tiny popping sound. Are you alright? I asked him in my thoughts then covered myself with the sheild again. He raised his eyebrow at me.

Carlisle was looking at us back and forth but continued talking, "well Emmett saw you in the forest and we got curious"

"Oh" I assumed so, "where are the rest of you staying?"

"Just outside the walls"

I nodded, "well I'm sure you can stay here as long as you like"

The three of them shared looks and Edward blinked, "may we stay the night?" Carlisle asked.

"You'd have to ask Aro but I'll put in a good word for you" I made a small smile.

Carlisle nodded and Alice looked at me with a giddy expression. Edward was indifferent. I turned around and walked back into the doors. The three of them walked behind me. I made my way back to Felix rather quickly. He gave me a look of explain-later. I nodded to him. Then looked at the Cullens again.

"May we stay the night? I'm sure The rest of my family would like to stay here for a bit"

Aro nods, "of course! Any friends of Carlisle are welcome"

"Ok I'll  be back soon with my wife and son"

So Rosalie wasn't here. I'm not surprised and it doesn't shock me that jasper isn't either. Once the volturi found out about his past he's dead.

"Bella dear May you show Edward and Alice their corridors"

I nodded and walked to show the way. Edward and Alice followed me then Felix was behind us definitely an Aro made security measure. I stopped at my room, "this is my room if you need me"

There's was ten doors zig zagging down the hall, "all of the rooms are available" I said quietly.

Edward nodded and picked the door across my room and to the left one. Alice picked the one next to me. I now noticed she had a tiny bag. Just a change of clothes I'm sure

"Bella we have to catch up!" She said gleefully which never failed to surprise me.
"Of course" I replied in a polite voice but tried not to show too much emotion. My reluctance didn't change her mood.

I opened the door to my room and gestured her inside to which she sat on my bed, "so I see you drink from animals?" She asks.

I nodded.
