It's been almost two hours. I began to search once again, I can't just wait for her to come back. I checked every place I can remember going with her, not in sight.

My muscles are tensing up, as I grind my teeth. Sweat is begging to drip from my forehead as I run what seems like a 5k run. The things I do for this girl.

I stop for a moment a glance at a small cafe in Brooklyn, it's called 'émeraude' the gold detailing, the emerald walk way resembling a red carpet. I peer my head closer to the window to see Victoria's petite frame at a small bar, on a green stool that complimented her skin tone. Across from her? Laito. Talking it up, after all this time and she's with him?

A small vein bulges from my forehead at the sight.

A grin upon her face as she flirtatiously twirls her hair in her fingers. For a moment I felt tempted to rush in their and spank her infront of everyone. Then I decided that was too much, and I was being hasty.

The humiliation would come later.

I opened the door calmly allowing myself inside. Little to no people as it was nearly midnight. Laito and I met eyes, the look he gave me, let me know he knew he was going to be in dire straits.

"Ahh Brother, care to join us? It's on the house Nfu~"

"We're leaving." I uttered in a furious tone. She met my gaze for a moment, she didn't look mad but disappointed. Disappointed I came for her.

(Victoria)

He led me to a quaint cafe, which was a shock. From his dialect I assumed a skimpy bar or club of some sort. I guess you really can't judge a book by it's cover. "Take a seat." He gestured me to a small bar stool with emerald upholstery that looked like something from a castle.

"So how's dear brother?" He asked with a small chuckle.

"He's an excellent teacher, he is quite intelligent. He is so kind to invite us all for this trip." I smiled despite knowing how I really felt about him in that moment. "Let's not pretend like your not fucking." He said so nonchalantly it left a odd expression on my face.

"It's not just 'fucking' it's deeper than that." I spoke running my finger along the ring of my cup. "Tell me more, I have time." He rested his elbows on the bar meeting my eyes with his. "He won't open up, I asked about his family...and he shut me up." I sighed.

Laito's expression turned from cocky to genuine. "He's always been that way, don't expect the truth from him." He added with a small huff. "Can you tell me about his- well your family?" I asked.

"The eldest Shuu and Reiji, have a mother named Beatrix, what a little favoriting whore she was." He laughed. "So he has one blood brother?" Was this why he go upset with me? His mother?

"Looks like it. She favored poor little Shuu and left Reiji on his own for the majority of his childhood."

"That's awful...how could she do such a thing?" I asked as my eyes became teary. "Once she had passed, he left us all. Then lived in Maine for few years after college. Then moved here last fall." He began twirling a napkin in his fingers.

"Maine?" So when he visited my family that wasn't his first time? Why would he lie about that? Makes no sense. If he can't tell me the simplest of thing, what darker things is he hiding.

"Anyway, let's talk about fun stuff. Like what's your Major?" He asked cupping his face as if he cared. "Journalism. Hints the trip." I laughed. "Right, ignorance is bliss." He gawked.

The cafe door swung open all of a sudden causing my body to jump. I met his Magenta eyes in regret. He found me.

"Ahh brother care to join us? It's on the house. Nfu~ Laito spoke. "We're leaving." His tone was eager. He approached me as if I'd stand and take his hand like a child at daycare. "Victoria. We're leaving." He growled.

"You're leaving. I don't have to follow your orders, we're not even dating. I'm just a fun fuck for you that's all." I stood meeting his gaze. He looked down at me, at this moment I had hoped to be taller.

"Laito, get her home safe." He suddenly disappeared from the small cafe, slamming the door.

"Got it, big brother!" Laito laughed.

(Reiji)

"Laito, get her home safe." I spoke before exiting. I was right, her eyes were full of regret. She didn't want to see me, all that searching was for nothing.
She's right, our relationship until now has seemingly been sexual based, it hadn't crossed my mind. This dinner was the last straw, all of her built up anger had a reason to release its self.

I guess I've never had a relationship that wasn't sex based. I've never been in love until now. Shit- I almost never say such improper thing nonetheless think them but shit. I've messed this all up.

Perhaps I'm not made for love.
