~Chapter 5: A new challenge~

A/n: I'm so sorry that i haven't updated this book in months but i'll try to keep up with it again

Recap:

"Now, Buhara?" Menchi calmed down a little, still aggravated.

The spoken man then stood up completely, "today's required ingredient will be pork!" .

Now:

"Pork? You mean like pig meat?" A man said stupidly. "Feel free to use any meat from any species of pig in Visca Forest. As you see you'll use these cooking facilities to prep your pork dishes. To pass the exam you must create a dish to satisfy our discriminating palates." Buhara finished.

"But we won't be evaluating taste alone. So take this seriously, is that clear? When we've both eaten our fill, this portion of the exam will be over." Menchi exlames.

"Okay, enough talk. Let's just get to it, alright?" The mean, blond headed man said confidently. "Let the exam's second phase" Buhara starts, as he bangs his hand onto his stomach making a gong sound,"begin!" he finished as everyone started running towards the gate's entrance.

Y/n's POV

As everyone started running to the gate, onii-chan picked me up so that I wouldn't be crushed under the large stampede.

When everyone went looking for their own pig, I separated from onii-chan and illumi-nii san, and went towards gons group.

"We got to catch a pig and cook it, huh? Man, this is way easier than the first phase" Mr. Leorio said as walked up to them from behind. "I just hope it's that simple." Kurapika said, "BOO!!" I yelled. "AH!" Leorio yelled, scared out of his mind. "Don't be so loud leorio, you might scare the pigs away" I said cheeky as I laughed.

"Hey guys, come here!"Gon said while sliding down the hill in front of us, all of us following after killua.

"YAHOO AHHHH" Killua screams as we all grunt from bumping into gon, who stopped before we could slide down completely. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" Killua asked Gon, confused."I found them." Gon says in a monotone voice, "Huh?" Me and Killua speak at the same time.

"Pigs!" Leorio says excitedly. We all look up at the same time to see very large, pink, scary pigs, with big snouts. "They're all..... Chewing on bones...?" Leorio says quietly and confused. "Do you think they are carnivores??" I asked, trying to be as quiet as I can be.

As I said that, one of the pigs looked at us and squealed/roared very loudly, alerting all of the other pigs and contestants that we found them. Then all of the large pigs came sprinting at us, obviously angry and frustrated that their snack was interrupted.

As soon as we saw them running at us we all ran away towards the other contestants."What the hell is that?!" A random man said looking at us running towards them with the large pigs on our tails.

Then the pigs started bumping and running over everyone near us,"These pigs are insane!" Leorio yelled but I couldn't really hear him over the screams of the contestants being thrown into the sky.I watched as people tried to throw all kinds of things at the pigs but still failed at killing them.

Gon then tried hitting one with his fishing rod, but the pig hit him with its snout and sent Gon flying. After he landed, he jumped to the side to avoid the pig chasing him. But when the pig hit the tree with his snout, a bunch of apples fell down and dropped onto the pig's forehead, making it squeal in pain.

Before I could watch the rest, I felt someone pick me up from behind me, I looked up and saw that it was onii-chan's friend, gittarackur. I smiled up at him as he walked me back to the exam gates and set me down, "Your brother already got your pig, so just wait until he gets here, okay?" He says to me, "Okay! Did you get your pig already?" I asked.

"Yes, I just don't want you to go in without your brother just in case." Gittaracker said with his normal, shaky voice."Alright! Do you wanna wait with me? You must be tired from killing your pig." I asked, kinda wanting him to sit with me to wait for onii-san."Sure, I'll wait with you." He then sat down next to me. "So, what's your real name? I know that no parents would ever name their child gittarackur." I asked, trying to make a conversation.

I could tell he was kinda shocked by the way his eyes widened, "My real name is illumi, did you notice the nen im using? No one ever really noticed it before,let alone a child, only hisoka." Illumi asked, ignoring my other statement, that was a real fact, like who would ever name their child gittarackur??

Anyways, "I guess you could say that I just knew, but why are hiding under that nen? I bet you're really pretty without it" I said, giving illumi a nice compliment, all though that nen look is literally hideous, I bet illumi is very pretty under it.

"Oh, thank you y/n, would you like me to show you what I look like?" When he said that I instantly said "Yes!". I'm just curious on what he looks like to be honest. He looked around us, almost looking like he was scared if someone was around to see his real face.

When he saw nobody, he quickly took out his golden pins that are all over his face. When he finished, his face started morphing into a pale man with black, dead eyes, and long, silky, black hair. I just sat there, with a shocked look on my face.

 HOW IS HE SO PRETTY?! "Holy cow! I was right, you ARE really pretty!!" I was astonished by the looks of this beautiful man. Like oml, how?!
